shoremama says "Rub me all over with white chocolate and honey!"" about LUSH Mange Too Massage Bar

My husband and I recently went to Atlantic City for a long weekend to get away for a bit. A girlfriend recommended that I check out the LUSH store while I was there and treat myself to a few of their products. I picked up a few bath bombs and a bubble bar to use in our comped room at our hotel because it had an enormous garden tub. But, I also picked up a few other goodies that caught my eye (or my nose) while I was in the tiny store. One of the goodies is this Mange Too Massage bar. I loved the idea of a massage without messy oils that I would end up spilling so after sniffing all the massage bars I decided on Mange Too.

Mange Too is shaped like an octagon with a honey-comb looking pattern on it. The scent is extremely sweet like white chocolate, honey, and candy. LUSH claims it also has peppermint and bananas in it. To use it simply rub it between your hands or on your skin and body heat turns the bar into a light oil for massage. The scent is sickingly sweet and extremely kissable....
...

shoremama says "I tied the knot with my baby" about Parents of Invention Ultimate Baby Wrap

When I had one child I always just carried them around. Then I had another child close in age and couldn't hold one child's hand and carry the other. Use a stroller, you say? Yes, I could do that but I prefer to keep my baby close by me. My babies always escape from buggies or cry mercilessly. They are happier in my arms where they belong.

My girlfriend purchased one of these baby wrap carriers for me as a gift. I thought she was krazy for buying me what seemed to be a big long piece of fabric and spending $50 on it. Then she showed me 'the light'. Using this giant piece of cotton fabric (with lycra blend for stretch) you can wrap your baby and "tie them on" in just about any position imaginable. Side, Front, Hip, Back, Facing in or out and even breast-feed. The only thing difficult about this is that there is a learning curve involved with figuring out how to do the wraps for each of the different holds. There are a lot of websites that show step by step and it comes with instructions....
...

shoremama says " Pampers FINALLY caught the wave!" about Pampers Splashers Diapers

My family lives at the beach. Growing up in the city there was nothing that I dreamed of more than to live at the ocean. My children are getting the experience of spending lazy days playing in the sand and surf - instead of on concrete. We go to the beach pretty much every day, sometimes I wonder why we bother maintaining our backyard pool. But for times when the beaches are too crowded (weekends or holidays) the pool gets good use. But, I digress.

With my older child I always used Huggies Little Swimmers because it was the only disposable swimpant available. We use pampers diapers so I was ecstatic to see that Pampers has finally come out with swimming diapers. Anyone who has sent a child into the water with a regular disposable diaper knows that they swell up like a giant balloon, weigh a child down, and explode - so swimpants are a must for a child who is not toilet trained.

Pampers splashers are sized just the way that they size diapers in # (3-4, 5 & 6) sizes. I always had a...
...
