The Lexmark X5470 is the perfect printer for the Home Office or small business user. The quality and quickness of printing are good. Photos print quite well and ink cartridges are averagely priced.

The scanning and copying features work quite well and are simple to use. The fact that you can copy without having your PC turned on is an added bonus. The software that comes with the printer is quite useful for personal and business applications.

Ink cartridges are easy to change. The printer will self-align itself after each cartridge replacement. No need to figure out which is the straightest line as with some printers when aligning after a cartridge change.

Uses Lexmark 32 and 33 cartridges. You can also use 34 and 35, which are the extended use cartridges. Cartridges average less than $25 each and are quite long-lasting.
