shauna828 says "Good points accumulation but annual fee is too high" about Chase - United Mileage Plus Platinum

This card accumulates GREAT miles. The annual fee is quite high ($175) but in the long run I find it worth it. In the first year, you can accumulate up to 15,000 elite qualifying miles, and in subsequent years up to 5,000. For purchases at united.com, and grocery, home improvement, gas, and dining, you accumulate 2 points per dollar. All other purchases are 1 point per dollar. With more and more restrictions on the "saver award" flights on United, it is harder to get the flights that you want for the lower rate of 25,000 miles for domestic flights, but you can get any flight you want (domestically) for 50,000, which isn't terrible considering the price of flights these days. Also, Visa is accepted pratically everywhere in the world and I never have trouble getting money from ATMs when my MasterCard is not accepted, although the rates for a cash advance are very high. Overall the APR is not ideal but I mainly pay the card off every month so for me, this is not a huge issue. This card is......

shauna828 says "love it" about USAA FSB - Total Rewards Mastercard

This card is great. The rewards are actually useful and have reasonable levels. I have never made a late payment, so I cannot comment on the consequences of that. They've raised my limit so high I will likely never go over it, as well. My APR is VERY low, about half of my other credit cards. I love this card and use it the most of all my cards, except when I travel to developing countries where MasterCard is not accepted....

shauna828 says "mediocre at best" about FTD

I sent three bunches of flowers for mother's day: two grandmas and my mom. Two grandmas received bunches on time and loved them; my one grandma could not read the personal message because it was handwritten in very bad, small handwriting. I told her I'd assumed it would be typed! My mom's bunch was one day late - and had been scheduled for Tuesday after Mother's Day, arrived on Wednesday. She said the flowers were in good condition, however. For the money ($18 delivery fee!!) it is really not a great deal at all....
