sharkbait1990 says "Why is this so expensive?" about Essie Nail Polish

So...here's the deal. I was perusing around on the internet for some good nail plish and I found the brand "Essie". So I decided to buy some of the nail polish from "essie" and I really don't see what is so special about it. It was pretty expensive and I was like "Hmmmmm....this must really be some good stuff....." but, to my dissappointment it wasn't. It is just your average run of the mill nail polish, that I could normally buy for nintey-nine cents from New York Color. Plus---the essie nail polish is so small! The nail polish I could buy from New York Color is at least three times that size! There really isn't anything too interesting or amazing about this nail polish, and for the time being I think I will stick to my cheaper nail polish, because at least that way I am getting more for my money. Bad call essie, at least make the prices cheaper, or the bottle bigger. You choose.
...

sharkbait1990 says "Its a great little computer for my needs" about Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop

I bought the Dell Inspiron 1525 for college this last summer and I have been pleasantly surprised by it! It's a pretty quick little computer and very durable. (I've dropped it a couple of times! Shhh...don't tell anyone!) I was constantly on my computer for classes, email, homework, and church assignments. That plus Windows Vista was a great combination. My laptop is the cute purple/pinkish colors with the cherry blossoms up the side. I like that Dell offers some individuality when it comes to their computers, until a Mac book. Unfortunately, because I am a graphic design major, I will have to purchase a Mac within the next year for some of the programs I need, but I will definitely be keeping my dell laptop. So I guess the only cons for the Dell Inspiron is that it isn't compatible with some of the programs I am going to need for my graphics major. Great computer, good price and lots of usage out of it!
...

sharkbait1990 says "It's okay, but wouldn't pay that much for it." about Nexxus Aloe Rid Gentle Clarifying Shampoo 13.5 oz

I just bought the new Nexxus clarifying shampoo and well, all I have to say about it is that: it's pretty average. I had a lot of build up and dirt in my hair from camping all week, and was excited to come home and try it. I was able to clean my hair, but it really wasn't all that different than from my previous shampoo and conditioner set (Clariol Herbal Essences' "breakage prevention" shampoo and conditioner). True, my hair was shiny and very clean but I guess I really didn't see anything special about the Nexxus clarifying shampoo. I would probably still use it, but I wouldn't pay as much as I did for it. I would only buy it if it was on sale AND I had a coupon. Maybe it would work better if you regularly use products like gel, hair spray or have color-treated hair. Other than that I wasn't extremely impressed but also would probably use it again if it was made available to me.
...

sharkbait1990 says "A lot for your money!" about Making memories paint

This is a review for the Making Memories paint set. I just bought the set in the "Harvest" collection and I really enjoyed using it! I was surprised how much I could paint from just using those little bottles. Each set comes with six colors and three paint brushes. I was able to paint an entire lamp, jewelry box and pencil box with lots of paint left over! These colors are also exquisite. Very earthy-tones and its high quality paint. The only con I would have for it is that it is a little bit on the pricey side. It was given to me as a gift, but I looked up the price online and it was around twenty dollars. I would never pay twenty dollars for six little paint bottles, but other than that minor detail they are great paints. They can also be used for scrapbooking (which is what they really are intended for ) just paint a piece of paper an distress it and it makes a great accent to any page.
...

sharkbait1990 says "It's a lot better than the 2nd generation!" about Apple - iPod Nano 3rd Generation Media Player

I just bought the ipod nano 3rd generation and I love it! I just upgraded from my Ipod nano 2nd generation and was surprised by the big improvement! Not only is the screen bigger and the capactiy increased, but even the little details like the cover flow, the transition between songs, the games offered and the ability to play movies or music videos is a plus! I like the wider size too because it makes it easier to hold onto. It also makes it easier to find if you loose it :) I bought a silver 4GB and already have appx. 800 songs on there. This is just the right amount of space for me, although if you wanted music videos or movies I would suggest getting the 8GB, or even upgrading to the Ipod classic. Overall, I'm very impressed with the ipod nano 3rd generation and plan on keeping it until it doesn't work anymore! Or at least until i can afford to get an ipod classic...Oh the earphones from Apple are really good too. I don't like the buds that go right into your ear, these...
...

sharkbait1990 says "Utah State is one of the greatest universities out there." about Utah State University

I just finished my first year at Utah State University, and I can say that I absolutely loved it! What I loved about it was that the entire student body is very unified. Even though you don't know everyone- if you see someone wearing a USU T shirt or just see someone on campus, its like you're all part of the same thing. I am not an extremely social person, but I still found lots of fun activites to do and made some great friends. The on-campus housing is amazing and the university really does a lot to make sure that your transition from high school to college is very smooth. They offer a great "USU 1010" course which is only a week long, but you go through tours, campus policies and everything you need to know to be a successful college student. I am returning for my sophmore year and starting in the art program. USU has several AMAZING programs, known nation-wide, including : Art, music, engineering, teaching, special ed., sign language, and agricultural of course. Loved...
...
