It really helped him to learn which sounds each letter makes. The cartoon makes a song out of it and makes it very fun for kids. When practicing with my son if he got confused on a letter I would sing the song from the dvd..."Every letter makes a sound T says..." and he would remember from the cartoon and finish. It was really amazing! I definitely recommend this dvd for anyone with a child in the process of learning their letters and the sounds they make.
