sews4cash says "Little oven + little energy usage = great product" about Euro-Pro TO289 1200 Watts Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

I started out looking for a simple toaster oven that could bake so I wouldn't have to use my big built-in oven. Being short of cash, I needed something of quality but for little money. This Euro-Pro seemed like it might do the trick for me. I was leery of the "convection" feature, thinking it wasn't anything I needed/wanted but I had no choice as this was the only model in my price range (under $25). Now that I've used it I wonder how I could have been scared? The bake/convection feature is all-in-one so you just use the temperature you normally use for baking. The fan makes it possible to cook evenly and fast. The wonderful thing is there's no preheating necessary - saving time and energy. Talk about getting homemade cookies on the table fast! It's so handy for browning frozen garlic bread (heating up a big oven would be such a waste of energy and nuking in microwave just didn't brown this). On the con side, I wish...

sews4cash says "A lotta phone for little money" about Alltel - AX275 Cell Phone

This cute little flip phone comes in hot colors including Hot Pink (my model). This AllTel phone is not only very reasonably priced but is one of the few that accepts the "Prepaid Plan" which I am on. With the rebate, it cost me $29.99, well worth its quality and features. This phone has a comfortable, easy to use keypad, important for the texting which is available with this phone/plan I chose. The background comes with adjustable brightness, a necessity using in dimly lit places, like a car (while I'm a passenger - not the driver!). I love all the features - find them easy to use now that I know how to use them. The manual was of little help to me, being this is the first time I've ever used a cell phone! (I'm deaf). The vibrate mode works well to alert me of an incoming call. — I find it amazing that a phone this inexpensive sports a camera! It's easy to use, even has zoom and resolution...

sews4cash says "More than an "entry level" cell phone" about Alltel - LG AX145 Cell Phone

If looking for a almost free (99 cents) cell phone with quality that delivers, give this phone a serious look. It can be used with "Prepaid" plans or plans on contract. This flip style phone is attractive with a comfortable keypad. It's easy to use, small, and lightweight. It has many features - ones I like are the texting ability, brightness mode, speed dial and more. It holds its charge much longer than my old Nokia phone, beeping to let me know when power is low. I bought this phone to use with AllTel...

Have you ever struggled with fastening a necklace? Those clasps with an opening smaller than a pin head are impossible to open and fasten! If you're like me you've given up changing your neckwear jewelry to suit the occasion or clothing or even wearing it at all. Not all of us have a handy friend to assist us. In my case either my husband isn't around or if he is, he's inadept as much as I. — Welcome to my favorite invention - The Clever Clasp! The package comes with 2 pairs of silver tone and 2 pairs of gold tone magnetic fasteners. These fasten onto the existing clasps, then close with a little twist. Also included are several lengthening chains to add on to your necklace, should you want it longer. Originally these sold for $20 on TV and in mail orders but now are reasonably and attractively priced at $9.95 at most discount and drug stores. — I have replace almost all my necklaces with Clever Clasps. Although...

sews4cash says "You need not be a child of the '60's to enjoy this engaging book" about Boom!

"Boom!" is aptly titled - a book that tells of the tumulant discord as well as history making events. Tom Brokaw, always the inquistive reporter, writes an engaging story of not only his life, but also lives of famous people who lived during these times. As a baby boomer I was a young graduate and bride in 1968. Reading this engrossing novel brought back so many memories plus spoke of events and people I was not aware of. You don't need to be a boomer to enjoy this book. In fact, I think it should be required reading for the younger generation, to help understand history. In fact, I'm going to give a copy to my daughter and son. ...
