serenidy54 says "So comfy, I would sleep on it!" about IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress

I adore the IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress! My baby has slept soundly on this mattress and seems perfectly comfortable which I cannot say for any other mattress she's been on. I got an IKEA crib that converted into a toddler bed and now that it is a toddler bed, I've been on it as well. Very comfortable and pleasantly firm but not hard. It can keep up with my toddler jumping on it. This is a wonderful buy.
...

serenidy54 says "Not as lost as I used to be!" about TomTom - TomTom One

The TomTom One has saved me more than a time or two when I'm on roadtrips, away on business, looking for a garage sale... It's been great. So far, though, I have been send about five miles past my actual destination, been told that I've arrived when I'm in the middle of a highway, and told to turn left onto a one-way street going the other way... Great for a budget GPS, but you still have to pay attention to where you're going!
...

serenidy54 says "Convenient and handy!" about Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket

This makes washing nipples and bottle parts super easy. You can also throw in baby spoons and even little toys. If you're sick of chasing bottle parts across the dishwasher, you need this!!! It's true, though, that it doesn't hold as many nipples as it says.
...

serenidy54 says "No leaks! It's a miracle!" about Huggies Overnites Diapers

Huggies Overnites rock my world! My little one has leaked out of every other diaper out there but with Overnites we can sleep easy and they are essential for traveling. The absorbency is phenomenal and they seem to be even more comfortable than a basic diaper. Fabulous!...

serenidy54 says "Avent Bottles are worth the money." about Avent Baby Bottles (All Sizes)

Avent bottles are well worth the investment. The nipple is mimics the breast better than any other bottle I've come across. They hold up extremely well over time. I have found, though, that the 9 oz. bottles seem to leak a little more than I would like.
...

serenidy54 says "Couldn't have lived without it!!!" about Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing

If I hadn't gotten this swing, I wouldn't have made it through the first six months of my daughter's life! The adjustable two way rocking kept things interesting for her as did the ability to switch between soothing music or ocean sounds. She spent many happy times cooing at the brightly colored fish and lights that spun above her.

I would say there are only a few downs to this wonderful swing. First, it eats batteries constantly but still it is well worth it. Second, the music and lights are factory set to go off after SEVEN minutes. SEVEN!! Why??? I don't know. They are easily restarted but it can be a pain. It continues to swing so that is a plus. It also takes up a lot of space.

Make room for it, stock up on D batteries and buy it buy it buy it!!!

serenidy54 says "Cute and fashionable with too many unneccessary features!" about Chicco Polly High Chair

I was very excited to get the Chicco Polly high chair but quickly found it had too many unneccessary features. The reclining position for younger infants is completely useless and I never used it. It has a removable cushion for easy clean up but it isn't easy to remove and becomes more of a pain than a nice feature.

I also didn't really think about that fact that while it comes with two removable trays that are dishwasher safe, they have no point. There is no reason to use the extra tray let alone two of them. If you put it on, food easily slips to the bottom tray requiring you to wash both anyway. And if you do have a use for the removable tray and you want to put it in the dishwasher, good luck. It's too tall to fit in the bottom rack so you'd have to remove the top rack and wash the tray only. Due to the uselessness of the trays, I'm wasting space trying to store them.

One of the main reasons I got this highchair was because it was supposed to fold super thin. It doesn't. It still...
...
