scs says "Best invention ever for new (slightly paranoid) moms!" about Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor 1.8" Screen

This was the best gift I received at my baby shower. I must admit it is easy to become obsessive watching your little one sleep. But it gives new moms peace of mind being able to "check in" on your baby while not risking waking them up. The monitor works great in daylight and at night. Though it is costly, I would spend the money in a minute if I were to do it all over again. ...

scs says "Great for strengthening backs!" about Bumbo Baby Seat

This was the greatest product ever when our daughter was younger. It helped her sit up at an early age and she was able to sit on her own much earlier than our other friends babies. We believe it was mainly due to this seat. It helped build up all her core muscles at an early age. It also allowed us to "sit" with us for family dinners and allowed her to feel like she was participating. Once our daughter's legs were long enough to touch the ground, she began to try to push her seat around to get to things. We didn't want to risk her tipping it over so we discontinued using it. I will definitely be using this product with our future children and recommend it to all of my friends....

scs says "Great space saving replacement option for a high chair" about Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat

We love this booster seat! We couldn't decide on a high chair so we've been using it in the interim and we've decided that this works well enough so why spend the extra money. And you can't beat the price! Its also great that you can take it anywhere when visiting friends - especially those without children (and therefore a high chair). It is small enough that you can set it on a shelf in a closet so its out of the way if need be. I highly recommend this product to all my new mom friends....

scs says "Great for newborns!" about Pampers Swaddlers

These were the one and only diaper we would use when my daughter was born. We tried other brands but they did not give her the leakage protection she needed. They fit her snugly in all the right places. After she became mobile (crawling, rolling, etc) they did not work as well and began leaking so we had to switch styles. I'd highly recommend these for newborns....

scs says "Great organic baby food with interesting food combos" about Earth's Best Organic Baby Food

My daughter absolutely loves the corn and butternut squash combo and the spinach and potato combo. These were the first foods we could actually get her to eat more than just a few bites of. While they do tend to be a bit pricey at most stores, we've found them cheap at Babies R Us as well as on sale at other grocery stores. I appreciate that they're organic and I'm willing to pay a bit more for them....
