First, after Sunako gets sick for a week she comes out of it extremely depressed and no one can figure out why. What's worse though is that while she's sick, the boys manage to let the house become a complete mess leaving it up to Noi to clean the house and figure out why Sunako is so depressed. — This story is followed up by the arrival of the national executive gang leader who wishes to challenge Kyohei to a fight. This becomes even more complicated though when he lays eyes on Sunako and falls in love leading to a very bizarre love fight that doesn't really exist. In episode seven, Kyohei is obsessed over having a hotpot dinner leading...

Also because of this he has become quite afraid of women, so much so in fact that when one comes near him he breaks out into an allergic rash. — One day though after he gets into a fight with his next door neighbor and childhood friend, Kirie, he finds himself transported into another world called Seiren. In this world he meets a young girl named Miharu who has seen his reflection and has wanted to meet him but was never able to until now. Unfortunately for him though this doesn’t turn out to be a pleasure trip for him as quickly he finds out that on Seiren, less than 10% of the world’s population is men and so women are constantly fighting over them whenever one appears. — ...

scorpioeyez says "I Mean Like At The VERY End." about DN Angel Vol. 3: Facets of Darkness

To read this review in its entirety please visit otakureview.net — — Episodes 9-12 are shown on this volume and the action becomes pretty intense. The first two episodes are actually pretty much filler episodes with the first episode expanding not only expanding on With a bit more but also on the growing relationship and feelings between Daisuke and Riku. This was a cute episode but nothing really special as is the case with the second episode in which we get to see a bit more of the past of Daisuke’s grandfather as the Phantom Thief, Dark, as he helped a young violinist. — The last two episodes of the volume are really where all the action takes place as Hiwatari returns to the series to stop Dark from taking the precious Horn Of Neptune and in the final episode of the volume, not only does Krad make his big return to the series to confront Dark but also Daisuke must deal with some new feelings as his father returns to the family after...

scorpioeyez says "Just Give It Some More Time" about DN Angel Vol. 2: Double Helix

To read this review in it's entirety, please visit otakureview.net — — Four more episodes are shown on this volume with three of them being more character driven and one episode being filler. The first episode has Riku and Risa switching places to try and fool everyone and while they succeed, they learn a little bit more about not only each other but about themselves. — In the second episode, we learn about Daisuke’s mother and her past. This was an incredibly well done episode and I really enjoyed it. The emotion in it is very apparent as I even got misty eyed more than once while watching this episode. — The third episode is nothing but a filler episode but it does have some interesting bits about Daisuke’s grandfather and his time as Dark which carries us over into the final episode of the volume which is entirely character driven showing even more of the past of Daisuke’s grandfather and his time as...
