scarabic says "Awful in every way." about AT&T

The only reason I use AT&T is the iPhone, and I hate hate hate them. Their service is terrible where I work, terrible where I live, and bad in between. I am always losing calls. In one case my phone dropped off the face of the earth for about a day before I realized all my calls were going straight to voicemail. I called them and they pro-rated me for a day but I missed important calls during that time! Their EDGE data network is a joke. I am very bitter that Apple chose them as an exclusive provider. The iPhone is revolutionary and deserves much better than AT&T....

scarabic says "Who needs an iPhone?" about Helio - Ocean Cell Phone

So far pretty great. The user interface could be a little smoother. The fancy graphical menus disappear once you get into the applications, and each application seems to work a little differently. The apps have an annoying habit of making you click "OK" all the time. Photo saved! "OK" Contact Edited! "OK" Etc. Just do it, tell me, and then buzz off. It's a little hard to figure out how to get back to where you were a second ago, but I'm learning the tricks. Web browsing could be a little smoother. It's still pretty 1st-generation. Not a full-scale web browser by any stretch. I still have no idea what the "mini map" does. I turn it on and see nothing. IM, Gmail, camera are all great. It's cool that it uses a USB mass storage system. Just plug it into the computer and drag your files on. No drivers!...
