sawallish says "Green Works Natural Laundry make white, white!" about Green Works Green Works Natual Laundry Detergent

I bought Green Works Natural Laundry detergent because I had a coupon. I was really surprised when I did my first load of whites. It was absoutely amazing when I took the whites out of the washer to dry them on a outside line and the sunlight hit the white. Dirty socks, that had bottom stains that had not previously washed out, where completely white and bright white. I am not certain how this product works, but if it is a natural product and works this well AND it is an environmentally friendly product, I am sold. The product is slightly higher priced than many others, but the pay-off is well worth it.
...

sawallish says "Nokia N810 a handy go anywhere internet tablet and VOIP phone" about Nokia N810

The Nokia N810 is pocket PC that is for a computer geek. I say that because the Linux OS2008 takes some getting acquainted with. There many free downloadable apps for it by going to the Maemo website. It has a built in video cam, GPS, and microphone. It can be used as phone if you subscribe to Skype. Storage is internal plus a insertable SD card. Entry is from a Qwerty keyboard that slides out or from the touch screen. It should have a standard USB port, but it doesn't and most PC apps are not going to work with it.

The downsides of this device are: The builtin GPS app is a trial and you have to pay after the trial period. However there are some free GPS apps on the Maemo website that can replace it, but they are not all that good. The GPS also take an extraordinary long time to find a sattelite and lock on to it. The webcam requires a lot of light to work properly and the only way to start the webcam is with the touch screen on the same side of the camera as the webcam...
...

sawallish says "GE Microwave Profile - A Standard for all microwaves" about GE Microwave - Profile JVM1790

The GE Profile microwave is one of the best I have ever owned. It has so many features, defrost, cooking level, express cook buttons, reheat and they all work the way they are supposed to. The fact that I see this microwave in so many homes is a testamony as to how good this unit is....

sawallish says "Great camera, but...." about Olympus - FE-170

The Olympus FE-179 is a great camera with many picture options, perhaps to many. There are some downsides:
1. The LCD is worthless in sun light. Using the view find in combination with the zoom will leave you taking a picture of something different than what you see.
2. The battery is a not a standard battery and you will need an Olympus charger to charge it. Unless you have a spare battery your picture taking will end when the battery dies.
3. Before you use this camera I suggest you go through the menu several times. There are many many choices and getting the most from this camera require a good understanding of all of the options....

Without a questions the best vacuum I have ever owned. Only a few downsides: 1) I wish were it a bit lighter in weight 2) changing the head was a bit easier and simpiler.

I have used all of the componets and they all work as they should. The shampoo attachment is wonderful....

sawallish says "Don't buy this phone!" about Samsung - A900 Cell Phone

I purchased an A 900 in February. The cycle on a charge was a couple of days. I contacted Samsung and they advised me to send the cell phone back to them and they would return it in 3 to 4 weeks. I found that unacceptable. I lived with the short battery life until June & took it to a Sprint repair facility in Oxnard CA. The diagnosis was a crack in the plug recepticle in the phone and they stated they could replace it for $35.00 but they didn't have one in stock. They sent me to another repair facility in Ventura CA. That second facility said there was nothing wrong with the phone but would replace it for $50.00. Angered, I left and decided I would be forever be tethered to a recharge cord. In July the phone died completely. I gave up, switched carriers and got a Nokia. I couldn't be happier. Charges on the Nokia now last for a week and I get signals in places where I could never get a signal with Sprint and the Samsung....

sawallish says "This internet provider doesn't know how manage a network or DNS" about Comcast - Cable Company

Constant loss of signal and / or DNS on internet. I switched to a different DNS provider and that solved some of the issues. Then I monitored the network and found that it was consistently go up and down, all be it for 1 second or less. Apparently no one at Comcast has a clue what this does when you are using the internet as much as I do. The TV signal is no different. I constantly receive "poor quality" or "no signal" or "reprograming" messages on my screen in the middle of my favorite TV show. Having worked in a network engineering department of a company for 15 years I questioned a Comcast representative why and how this could happen. His concluding comment when he left was "the company really doesn't care" If I had another choice I would be done with them yesterday....
