From time to time, I am troubled by lack of sleep, but NO MORE. I have found something to take care of those times when I cannot fall asleep. While on Ebay looking for another item, I found the above item that I am reviewing about. One of the best kept little secrets is that for the most part, they work; not only in Sound Sleep, But Headache(which I'll review after this),Stress Relief, Optimism, among others. because I have problems with missing sleep, I decided to get the set promoting sound sleep. I ordered two of the Sound Sleep and Im going to tell you how it works. One night when I kept gettng interrupted by the phone, and it disturbed my sleep, fortunately, I was able to use the Sound Sleep on this occasion, and you know, in little time, I was gone to sleep. In my heart, I kind of wish Michael Jackson used this to help with his sleeplessness instead of all those drugs. I was so impressed with these, that I have two, and though I dont use it as much lately, it is there when I have...
...

savvynlady says "Love the place" about Overstock.com

I discovered Overstock a couple of years back when I was doing some comparison shopping on some books. If you want to get a book, more than likely, it is way cheaper there than at Amazon.com, which to me, is the biggie in low prices, but then again, if Amazon is the King, then Overstock has got to be the Queen!! because honey, she undercuts them with a no more than $2 shipping fee which for me is such a blessing. Mind you now, you may not get EVERY book you want, and you can also get electronics, clothes, bedding etc, but nine times out of ten, if it's popular, you can get it there for less. I also do some comparison shopping there and you can join their club for a fee but it runs like a frequent buyers club but don't quote me there. Easy, accessible, convenient and great for those doing their early Christmas shopping, this site is the place for all your needs. Check it out. www.overstock.com
...

I got to see this movie on the recommendaton of another; One of my friends of Facebook talked about watching this and I not knowing about it, looked it up and found it interesting, and decided to check it out when I couid which I did two weekends ago. About a young fellow(Joel Edgerton) who suddenly inherits the family shoe business upon his father's passing. Once in the job, he finds rows and rows of shoes that should be leaving the factory and decides to check out what the deal is which is that the nice little comfy shoes that his family has been putting out for over a century, has been trumped for a more cheaper foreign model. Not knowing what to do, he runs into a woman being chased by a group of men; He being a gentleman, goes after them and gets knocked out by a shoe by the very person he protects. After coming to in the persons dressing room, he comes to find out that she is really a he; A female impersonator named Lola(played oh so well by Chitewel Ejiofor) wanting to help, he...
...

I have been with Pinecone Research for at least four years. They sent me an invite to join them, which I did, and when I first started out with them, they would send me checks for $5 in the mail; then it got that they would send it by Paypal which is much more faster and convenient as opposed as to waiting a few days. You won't make a gold mine here, but if you save it, a little can become so much more. I will assume that you can only get in via invitation or referral; I tried to get a friend in once and I believe she got in; and with times as tough as they are, those little $3-5 come in quite handy in a pinch.
...

savvynlady says "Interesting book" about Ninety Minutes in Heaven

I have heard a lot of this book, but was a bit skeptical until I got this book from the library and sat down and read it for myself. I believe in God and the Trinity; I believe there is good and bad and even though I was taught when your dead, your dead, I tend to feel that there will be instances where people are clinically dead, but somehow, for whatever reason the Lord deems best, they come back as a witness to the rest of the world. In this instance, I tend to feel that that is the case. Anyhow, all of this is TRUE from the get go. A young associate Pastor was coming back from a retreat in Texas and hits an embankment and dies. Cops, paramedics come and pronounce him dead, but one thing that remains odd to some. a fellow minister passing by came by and was told of the news, but hearing the prompting from the Lord, ended up staying and started praying for the man; In the meantime, the man had a vision that he saw his relatives that have long departed who met up with him in heaven, and...
...

savvynlady says "Simple, fast and easy" about Redbox DVD Rentals

I got into Redbox about a year ago when I went into Food World and saw it there. It seemed like an interesting concept, so I eventually ordered a movie and had it sent back the next day. No problems, no worries. If you want to catch the latest dvds coming out or what you thought you wouldn't see out, Redbox is the place for you. It's a dollar a day; If you keep it over a day, it's a dollar per day. If you take it out, it confirms to your email that you have it out. If you return it, it sends a confirmation to your email as well that it has been returned. To be honest, Redbox is a simple kiosk that is now dominating the video rental thingie hands down. But the only place it doesn't have beat is our local library where a movie can be had for a dollar a week. you can even sign up online on Redbox to be a part of their community, receive free codes to use to get free movies and get their free or upgrade to a Gold one perhaps.
savvynlady says "all that's good about a goody." about Goody's Headache Powder

Down here in the South, a person asking for a Goody is a common thing. Sold mainly in the convenience stores, these little powders are good for what ails you in the headache department, but I will ask that when you use them, make sure you have something to chase it down with; also, make sure you take it ALL or the powder will spill on you if it don't. And stock up on the powders; Family Dollar has it where you can get like 18-24 packs for $2.75; Winn Dixie has the 50 pack for $4.49-5.00; Walmart has them for $5.50 but they run out pretty quickly there, so your best bet is hit elsewhere or stock up so you won't be without. Now for the effectiveness, once you take a Goody, relief comes within minutes. But for me, I am the type (read my review on the B&BW Headache roll on) who don't dwell on my ailments and they do the job they are supposed to.
...

I just discovered Biofreeze recently when I went to a health fair and most of the chiropractors there offered sample packs of it; so, I took them home, and from time to time, I do have my aches and pains. So when one of my knees started causing me pain, I put some of this on the knee, and I won't lie, the pain left; Every so often, my hands be in pain, and I in spite of it being a gel, I did apply it, not only is the gel odorless, containing Illex, an analegsic, which is effective pain control for sore and sprained muscles as well arthritic joints. The gel is VERY effective. I suggest that you get a tube, bottle of this for your aches and pains.
...

I won't get into much on the line, but I really feel the B&BW Instant Aromatherapy line is probably the best kept secrets and alternatives to traditional remedies of simple aches, pain and maladies. Since I do suffer from headaches, I was very interested in getting the Headache Relief roll on and got one via Ebay.folks, if you want to save your money, try Ebay, stock up when the items come to the store and check the B&Bw site for additional sales. Anyhoo, I got the headache roll on and wasn't able to try it right off because I didn't have a need for it right then. But lo and behold, my eldest daughter did have a headache one night, and feeling sympathetic, it took a minute for me to find out that I may have had the answer to the problem; So I whipped out the Headache Relief roll on to her, which she used and she said she loved the smell(peppermint essential oil); I agree, but I also notice that when I take these things, I tend to forget about them for the most part, and in time, the problem...
...

About a month or so ago while doing some checking, I discovered this new(to me)line of aromatherapy aids that help you with most dillemmas to one's every day life. In this case, I got Sound Sleep; although I am able to get to sleep pretty quickly, there are times where I need a helping hand, and the Sound Sleep roll ons are a great help. Just take it and roll on your wrists, under your nose, by your temples, and I promise, NO, you won't drop off right off the bat, but with time, you will. I got some from Ebay along with the Black Chamomile body wash, lotion and pillow mist(which I higihly recommend as well due to its unisex scent and effectiveness) and tried it one night. And I wasn't disappointed. I had to try it twice because my sleep got interupted due to my eldest coming in late for the evening. And I used it AND my mother used it; don't you know she wanted to know what it was and where to get it? I happily told her the product. I also suggest you try the other products: Headache Relief,...
...

I bought the body butter and other stuff via Ebay a while back, and puttng it on my body made it soft but also made it smell so heavenly; not real heavy scented, not fruity, but engaging enough to wear and not worry if you killing your neighbor real hard with your scent.

From the first time I saw this movie I couldn't help but fall in love with it; Jack Nicholson plays this rich guy who ends up with cancer. Morgan Freeman is this mechanic who also could tell you trivial facts at the drop of a hat. He finds out he has cancer too and ends up in the same room as Nicholson. At first, it's not a marriage made in heaven, but with the camaraderie of them in the same boat, going through the same things and Nicholson discovering the list Freeman made, aptly called a Bucket List, he decides to go on the adventure of a lifetime around the world. Of course, Freeman has some reservations, and has to talk to his wife(Beverly Todd)about it, who is none too pleased about her husband going around the world with some rich guy, but they do, and what an adventure they have. sky diving, driving around in the car of Freeman's dreams. sitting on top of the Sphinx in Egypt, dining on the French Rivera, hitting the Himalayas briefly, going to Hong Kong, hitting an African safari,...
...

This film is nothing but a barrel of laughs; It is the first Marilyn Monroe film I ever saw and fell in love with as a kid; Set in 1929 Chicago, it's about two musicians Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, who were playing in a speakeasy that got raided. Tony Curtis' character loves to bet on horses, and Lemmon is a bit more practical but goes just about with anything Curtis says. When they just happened to watched the St Valentine's Day Massacre while going to get a friend's car for a gig. They decide to skip town masquerading as females for an all girl band that just happen to need the same type of instruments they play for a date in sunny Florida. Lemmon as Daphne meets a millionaire(Joe E. Lewis)who falls for her and trys to court her. Curtis plays a rich young millionaire who tries to snag the band's lead singer Sugar Kane(Marilyn Monroe), a sweet, drinking, sap of a sucker for bass players if you ever saw one, and all bets are off.All looks good for the "girls" until the same folks they ran...
...

Well, I was in for a solid treat in getting them; To me, they are nutritious, not so much in calories, no trans fats and good to eat. They are great for snacks and I highly recommend the South Beach Diet mix which has cashews, almonds and macadamia nuts; not so much on the macadamias, but enough to make you come back. great for those needing to leave a sweet tooth.
...

Let me be among those to say that Michael Jackson got a great send off; Not to be funky, but my heart went out for another famous person who got a seven plus hour funeral; That was too much even though in my estimation, they deserved the very best. (No names necessary)Michael's program lasted almost two hours, and whatever you wanted to say, it got said.I grew up listening to the Jackson 5; My eldest brother and sister would go downtown to Madison Square Garden and watch them perform; It got so that my father broke down and bought tickets for ALL of us to see them in July of 1973; I'll never forget it; but I was so busy going around the place for them to notice me. No chance on that. Michael Jackson's solo efforts seemed to have come around certain milestones in my life; Going into the military, getting married, having my babies. When things started to get bad for him, I wondered how this could be. I always felt that he had no childhood and had nothing but genuine love for the kids, but...
...

I didn't feel much of a change until I bought some to try; I will admit as time went on, It IS great for your dry skin parts. I have heard it is great for winter skin and for those who suffer from the ash(throat clearing), this is the product for you. I got my new bottle from Ebay(forever the bargain hunter)and mixed it with my favorite Johnson's Soft Lotion, and I tell you, this morning, my skin feels so luxurious like I just came out of the bath. Now, at $23, it is a bit pricey, I won't lie; but its worth it's weight in gold and more and I suggest buying in bulk and get the sample sizes to keep in your bag.
...

First of all, I have worked for everything I got in life, so this young fella's story is something I couldnt get at first. I mean, you turn around, and there it is. Trust Fund or Hedge Fund Baby. That must be something. But when he is stripped of those things, and has to manual labor, loses his money, couldn't even get a loan from those he loaned money to, or his own mother. that is hard. It must had been hard to be in the restaurant and ask the girl to pay, and she sits there and cries and walk away; but then she probably thought it was an act. Now when he was down and out, I respected that. I have been there, I know about that. but as he goes through things, he's not asking for the gift...
...

I will never forget watching this movie with two other friends from church in 1982, Memphis, Tennessee when our church had their youth convention. We saw this film, 1941 and Animal House; But out of all of the films, I tend to favor this one the most because of the music which got me to tapping my feet, the adventure, the comedy, the stars etc etc. You just cannot HELP but LOVE this movie. Saturday Night Live made a great team out of the late John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd; It was a match made in heaven that ended only with Belushi's passing sadly. But this film about a set of brothers Ellwood(Ackroyd) and Joliet Jake(Belushi) Blues, who upon Jakes release from prison, go to the orphanage where they were raised and find out from the sister there that they owe on their property taxes.

Hollywood is known for its good and its bad. It's a place one can go and escape the troubles of the world for a few hours Following is a list of the 15 movies that I know fully well I can watch over and over again; Not in chronological order or years or importance. It is just a set of movies that I fell in love with and consider them favorites. For the most part, I ran into these movies via cable tv; some I saw once they came out, some I just took a chance on.
