savannahsmum says "Great high chair!" about Combi Hero 3-in-1 High Chair

We only got the Combi Hero 3-in-1 high chair a few weeks ago, but so far, so good. To start, I love how it looks - modern design, cool colors (we chose the wasabi), and not too big of a footprint in our kitchen. The assembly was easy and quick. I love how adjustable this high chair is - five different height settings, three levels of recline. And although my daughter's feet don't yet reach the footrest, I am hoping it will soon come in handy.

There is a small, removable tray within the larger tray (that I am sure the little one will soon learn how to pick up and throw onto the floor), but until then it is a nice feature to avoid having to put the whole tray into the dishwasher after every meal.

The Combi Hero high chair also sold me on the fact that it becomes a booster seat when the child gets older and beyond that, a chair that a child can sit on the floor in. There is a video on the Combi website that nicely demonstrates these features.
...

savannahsmum says "Nice car seat" about Graco SnugRide

My husband and I chose the Graco Snugride for our first baby. I did a lot of research online prior to making this decision. The two main factors I was looking for were a high safety rating and a reasonable price. I was shocked at how expensive some of the car seats on the market are, and according to Consumer Reports product testing, the most expensive are not necessarily the safest. Consumer Reports did give the Graco Snugride a high rating.

Our daughter is now six months old and we have been very pleased with our car seat. My favorite feature is the fact that the car seat can be attached to a stroller frame that is purchased separately. This prevented us from needing a separate stroller. The frame is small and easily fits into the trunk of my compact car.

As far as the seat itself, it seems comfortable for my baby and it has been easy to diassemble and clean when we have had messy incidents.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I would have liked a little more...
...

savannahsmum says "I love my laptop! " about Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921

I recently bought the Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921 laptop to replace an ancient and torturously slow desktop. I couldn't be happier with my choice. This computer is fast, light, and fun to use. It features crisp colors and graphics on a beautiful widescreen display. It took a little while to get used to Windows Vista, but so far the transition from XP has been relatively easy. I enjoy the look and features of Vista, and really don't get what all the initial backlash against it was all about. I am not a computer expert, but am fairly handy and able to get around pretty well.

I have been very pleased with the battery power of this computer. It holds a charge for about 3 hours on the "balanced" power plan (an equal distribution between performance and energy conservation) and I'm sure it would last even longer on the "power saver" option.

This laptop has a DVD reader/writer which, frankly, I haven't even explored yet, but I look forward to having the feature available when I get...
...
