santee245 says "outstanding, got us out of a lot of wrong ways" about Navigon 2100 GPS Navigator

Okay here goes. We are from the 40's, in our 60's, been through the invention of the television to the computer and ready and willing to try the next thing down the road. I am the last one beside my husband to have a cell phone. He will never get one. He will use one, but not pay for one. Anyway, back to the Navigon. Here is our experience with the Navigon, it is either 2100 or 2001, I can't remember. some 60's thing I guess lol. Anyway, we farm and never go anywhere, my husband sits in a chair all winter long and watches the tube and when spring comes he turns in to a farming maniac. Well, this year some of his cronies from his favorite meeting place decided to get ill. I came down the stairs to see him practically in tears. He didn't say anything, but I knew. He was feeling mortal. He has worked from the time he was 5 years old and cut his hand half off when he was 5 in a cornpicker. They managed to put most of it back on though. Well, I can never get him......

santee245 says "Good buy for your money, kids don't need a lot of clothes on" about Gerber Variety Onesies

I first discovered onsies when I started watching my grandchildren. I found them at garage sales at first, but then the more kids I watched the more I loved them. Wow, I wish they were around when my kids were little. They are so convienient and practical. The snaps on the bottom make them easy to change baby. Most of the time, and I have pictures to prove it, the little ones wore these all day long. Moms overdress baby sometimes and they need access to roam around without a bunch of heavy clothing on them. You do have to keep the house warm in the winter though. Our little guy, the last one I watched was all over the place, kid walk early now, after he found his little toes one day he just decided there was a purpose for them and off he went. Kids sure do walk early now don't they. Anyway, oops off the subject. They don't bind in the crotch area and with a diaper there anyway they don't need to be bowlegged when they grow up. Plus on colors and patterns and cute......

santee245 says "Grandson had a terrible rash Cured by Desitin Creamy" about Desitin Diaper Rash Cream

Okay, I have raised enough kids in my life to let you know what my opinion is of this product. I have been through 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl to know when a product works. I used the baby powder, which I might add goes everywhere including your lungs and babys lungs no matter how careful you are. Desitin creamy was not around when my children were little darnit anyway. No matter how good a mother you are when those teeth come in up comes a diaper rash. One of the best cures for a diaper rash I have found beside the Desitin which I used on all my grandchildren (because guess who watched them while parents worked) is to let the baby soak in the tub adding warm water to soothe affected area watching baby at all times. Give them some toys to play with and if you have to lol read them something. Take them out of the tub, dry them off, and throw a huge blanket on the floor (you know what for) let them lay, crawl, play, whatever they want to do bare naked. Keep them warm though......

Hey you guys, this stuff is really bad for you, it has been proven that it causes headaches. Go look online and see what the side effects are. I was using it and I got sick with headaches and just didn't feel well. I just decided to cut out all sugar. Type in aspartame side effects in you search bar and see if you get any. ...

santee245 says "Very Good Lipton, something different and delicious" about Lipton - Diet Green Tea with Citrus

Lipton, I think we have a winner! I was told by someone that if you wanted to lose weight drink green tea. Well, I bought some to steep and brew and I like it okay, but I can't take a cup of hot tea with me everywhere I go, so I decided to try a bottle of the lipton green tea with the citrus. I had to be really thirsty to give it a try and it had to be really cold, and I had to have something to eat that was salty so I could give it a fair shot. I can't say I like the citrus, so I tried the lipton and honey, now that wasn't too bad and I would buy that more often. They are making a lot of new drinks for the health concious individuals out there that are sick of all the sugar, caffeine and additives they put in soda. I can say that I will still drink the hot tea when I am sitting at my computer, but will get the Lipton green tea when I am on the go, I would like to try the white tea too, but still not brave enough for that one, anyone else tried it yet?...

Well, I tried it again this week. they came out with a few new flavors, I am allergic to milk too and I thought I would buy some of that milk where they take out all of the steroids or whatever they are putting in it now. Well, that was a bad idea, the price of it was 4.00 a gal. not worth the ibs attack I got from it.

So I tried the Activia, I got the peach flavored one. Um Um that is good. I don't know if it will work or not,we will see, but it sure was good. Keep bringing on the new flavors Dannon! We have to have some kind of milk product or we won't have a good bone in our bodies. The American farmer needs to take out all of the stuff they are pumping into their cattle to make them produce more milk. It is bad for all of us, and our children. What ever happened to old fashioned milk anyway.
...

santee245 says "I like the way it dissolves quickly with no after taste" about Benefiber Fiber Supplement Powder

Hi, I have used this product for about 2 years off and on. For me, it doesn't work like everyone else. It seems that it takes a long time for me. I eat very little fiber, I don't eat any meat at all, so I figured I would try this product, I choke on pills and metamucil made me sick just looking at the powder.

So I took it on what the commercial said that it was tasteless and you could put it in anything, and lo and behold they were right, I put it in my green tea, hot or cold, my food, my water, i would probably put it on a cracker if it would dissolve lol. I would like to know what happens if you take too much, when I had IBS, which happens a lot, I think I over did it. It didn't seem to work very well. I can say one thing, peppermint sticks help a lot on that. I think this is a good product and I will continue to buy it.
...

First, this book has a cover of vivid red with a shovel on the front. I presumed from the beginning that it was about one of Kings tales. Personally I preferred the scarey ones. I wonder what happened to them. I am waiting to get to see his new movie, hope it is a good one.

Anyway, back to the book. Starts out with a trip to the college for this author of books. His wife Lissey goes with him and someone tries to kill him. It goes back and forth a lot from his horrifying childhood with his brother and father being possesed by some kind of possession, something they couldn't help, he grows up and becomes an author and Lissey helps him through until he finally dies in the hospital.

Going back she recalls all of the things they do together and places they visit while unknown to her a fan of her husband is stalking her and wants his novels that he thinks she is hiding away. To get rid of this guy she has to go to boo ya moon and take him there with her. I won't ruin the...
...

Okay this is the newest addition to the family. My grandson and I were shopping at our local grocery store and saw the display. oh my gosh, the graphics were awesome. I am what they say a little over the hill, on the way up but dragging my feet all he way. I love video games and love to play with him. It took a long time and going through a lot of other game systems before we got to this one. I have not had a chance to play it with him yet, but Saturday I get him and the game lol, a two for one deal, love the little guy. I can hardly wait to play it. He also has the Halo 3 game with it and I know by the advertisement of it, that it is a very wanted game. I kind of wish I could start out playing mario or something, I am still back at the original nintendo stage. Hope to move forward on this one. He will show me how to do it, and I can hardly wait. It looks fun, so I will give it my best shot. I give this one a big plus!...

I love quacker factory clothing. Any time I have bought one of their shirts they are very beautifully made and Jean Bice cares about all her customers. She shows these clothes on Qvc occaisionally and you can buy them online if you type in quacker factory. They are made from xs to 3 x sizes which are very hard to find. She has a huge selection of clothes from jeans to jackets, to t shirts to outfits to wear out for evenings. You will love her stuff, I do and I like all the doo dads she sticks on her clothes, they are funny and hip....

santee245 says "Very High priced" about Dish network

Okay, here goes. We have had the dish network for probably close to 7 or 8 years, we got it when the kids were all home. At the time we got it we paid around 19.95 a month for it. As time went by and the kids grew up we decided to add hbo and starz movie channels. They used to give you a free movie once in awhile, but that stopped 2 years ago. We are up to paying 73.00 a month now with little side benefits. I don't recomend this dish at all. I will say one thing for it, the receiver has lasted us a long time. I added a receiver in my room and pay 5.00 more a month for it. Most people get a receiver for free for up to 4 rooms. I had to pay $200.00 for my receiver because I didn't get it with the original deal which I think is one of the biggest rip offs ever. We pay every month on time for years and they charge us $200.00 for something everyone else gets for free, Big big rip off. Would recomend to all of you to buy all your receivers at once or you will have to......

Bought this item about 5 months ago, I wanted to dvd movies of my grandkids from old vhs tapes before they degraded any worse than they were. I got a good deal on this one and bought it. Brought it home and could not figure out no matter how hard I tried how to hook it up. I had some done and my son walked in and hooked up the rest. Very difficult for me to pre program, not hard to record movies on to dvd, but I am in my 60's so had to figure it out or let it sit and I am not wasting money so I figured it out, the hardest thing was how to do all the things required to see the movie, but I figured that out too. Ha ha women can do it!...

Bought this for my bedroom, wanted to hang it on the wall, but haven't gotten to it yet. One of the downfalls of flat screens is the extra price to hang it on the wall if you want. Around $40.00 to hang it up, so I still have it on my shelf. I like the picture quality and the sound is excellent, speakers on both sides in the front. One thing I don't like is the fact that it goes off automatically in a certain amount of time. If I want it off I will turn it off. ...

I bought this printer last year, I love the fact that it does everything I need it to do. I can put my memory card in the slot and it downloads my pictures to my computer. It did take me awhile to figure it out, thank goodness I have grandchildren lol. I think the hardest thing on it for me was loading the cartridges, but she did it for me and I have learned how to do it myself, I worry more about breaking something when I am doing it myself. Pictures turn out very nice, but as with all printers they use a lot of ink. Cartridges are expensive, but if you shop around you can almost afford one. Another thing, I think they could improve how the paper goes it, sometimes it goes side ways and messes up. I have no problems scanning items, I have a lot of things to scan in our farming business and like to make duplicates of all our bills. Good buy for the money....

My husband bought this computer for me on my birthday November 2007. The price was incredible, I also got a 20 inch monitor with it and belive me, I love it to pieces. Instead of having a clunky old box on the floor gathering dust, I have a small box on my desk right next to my monitor and it all fits in a little area. Speakers right next to it, they are small enough to it there and loud enough to really crank them up. I am a grandmother of 13 and my grandkids have all made me appreciate good music of any age bracket, I love the oldies and rap, very flexible with music. I also love the choice to go between screens, the color variations and there are just so many things I have not yet explored. You won't go wrong on this item. ...
