sandry311 says "Pinxav has been in my family for years for good reason!!" about Pinxav (pronounced Pink Salve) Diaper Rash Cream

I remember my mom using Pinxav on my sister and I when we were little. It was in a little white bottle with a gold label and a black lid. She used it for EVERYTHING. Minor burns, scrapes, diaper rash, heat rash; whatever. She used it on herself, my dad, the kids. When I was pregnant with my first baby, she bought me my own tube of Pinxav, and I haven't looked back. I have 4 tubes of it scattered around my house, in case one gets misplaced or left at a relatives house. Upstairs, downstairs, both bathrooms. Oh, I forgot, the one in the diaper bag! That makes five! Pinxav is by far the BEST cream you could use for diaper rash. My daughter always seems to get diaper rash in the summer time, and I put on Pinxav once, and the rash is gone by the time I change her diaper again. She calls it her magic butt medicine. (She's now two.) I've had to use it on my son less frequently, and it still works great. If someone I know has just had a baby, that's one gift that's definitely included in their gift...
...

sandry311 says "I have a daughter with allergies, and she loves Claritin!" about Claritin Children's Chewables

We decided to give Claritin for Children a try when my daughter started showing signs of allergies in the spring and fall. We live in a more country like setting, with our backyard being the woods, and as I look out the window now, I can see cotton like stuff all over our backyard, which drives me daughter's allergies nuts! Since you can't escape it, you have to deal with it the best you can. She's two years old, so it's hard for me to get her to take anything unless it tastes like candy. She had NO problem taking the Children's Claritin Allergy grape chewables, and since she's started taking it, she's no longer stuffed up, her eyes are clear and bright, and she hardly sneezes. She's still full of energy, and doesn't mope around when she's on it, which is a huge deal. She also sleeps better at night, now that she can breathe. I recommended it to my sister, who also lives in the country with two young children, and they also have seasonal allergies. I'm just glad there's something out there...
...

The Hewlett Packard Mini Notebook isn't a bad little computer. It's nice and small, easy and lightweight to carry. My biggest problem with the computer is the space button, and the slow internet speed. We have another old laptop that is used in our house, and I prefer it over the new HP Mini for sure. The space button doesn't work most of the time; you have to practically punch it to space between words, or hit it dead straight in the middle. Also, we have high speed internet, so we figured this being a brand new computer, it would be fast, but instead, it lags, and every page takes forever to load, if it even does. Maybe it's just our computer. Since we bought ours at Circuit City's closeouts, we couldn't take it back, so for all I know, we just got a defective one. It was fairly cheap, under $500. It's hard for me to type on, since the keyboard is a bit small. I guess I'm just used to my bigger laptop with it's bigger computer. The screen is really nice, and graphics look great when they...
...

sandry311 says "The Cleveland Zoo is one place I visit at least once a year!" about Cleveland Zoo

I always try to visit the Cleveland Zoo at least once a year. It's about an hour drive from my home, and always worth the drive. We made a point of taking our kids for Mother's day this year, and we didn't realize until we arrived that mothers and grandmothers got in for free that day! While it was a nice surprise, it was a bit too crowded for me, and we had a hard time enjoying ourselves. The elephants and hippos are gone this year, and won't be back until 2011, since they're building the new elephant enclosures. I was a bit disappointed by this, but I really should have checked out their website beforehand to see what was going on. We still managed to have a good time. The seals and sealions and the tortoises were always my favorites, and the tortoises weren't outside yet, so I didn't get to see them. We didn't manage to see the Rainforest this time around, because we had our kids in a wagon, and weren't sure how crowded it would be inside, and how hard it would be to navigate with said...
...

sandry311 says "Luvs are ok diapers, but not for overnight usage." about Luvs Diapers

I have two children, aged 2 years and 10 months. When my oldest was born, I started using Luvs diapers on her and I really liked them. However, on our tight budget, we switched to a cheaper diaper. We continued to use them until our son was born, and continued to use them up until 3 months ago, when they discontinued the line at Walmart. I decided to give Luvs a second go, since they were cheaper than other brands, and I liked them before. Since then, I've had several diaper blowups. On my son, they're contantly exploding, and this jelly substance comes out all over our floor, or in his pajamas when he's sleeping, causing him to be wet and cold. The tags fall off on my daughter, and I can't keep the diapers from falling off of her, down her pant legs; or she wakes up in the mornings without a diaper, and in a wet bed. Luvs Size 4 are good diapers if you're just using them during the day I suppose, but if you want a good overnight diaper, I wouldn't recommend these. I ended up switching...
...

sandry311 says "The LG enV2 cell phone is just really awesome for me!" about LG - enV2 Cell Phone

I just bought into an LG enV2 phone about a month ago through Verizon Wireless. I haven't had a cell phone in a few years, so I was a little iffy about working my way through the phone and figuring my way around it. It turned out to be incredibly easy for me; I'm not a tech expert, but I'm not completely lost. However, those touch screen phones are just lost on me. I'm huge into taking pictures, and even though this camera doesn't have a flash, the pictures it takes are quite amazing for a camera phone, and it's started me on one addicting hobby of camera phone photography. I also download some songs on there; not too many, as I can't really afford it at the moment, but the songs play great. I wouldn't mind if they played a little louder, but I guess that's what my stereo is for.

The speaker phone is great too, for when I'm working in the kitchen, so I can still talk to my mom, and my kids get a kick out of hearing momo for themselves. I've ended up loving this phone so much that I dropped...
...
