sandi57 says "Buy him a gift he'll never forget you when he's with it!!!" about Samsung - Samsung 56" Projection TV's

We became empty nesters this year and so decided to down size in everthing except for the Television. I just hadn't quite made my mind up, what size was going to be big enough so we finally found what we we're looking for a 56" Samsung HD, nice and sleek and talk about a picture, wow outta this world. How's this Sound To You:

We really got a deal on ours. We were looking at them in peace and thought o.k. we'd go ask more about it. As we turned the Corner to the Kiask what spotted our eye? Yep, the 56" w/o a box. At Circuit city, now out of Business. The open box would just be one that someone returned that means usually nothing wrong just someone who decided to go bigger or decided they couldn't afford it, but for the new buyer it means big bucks. We had it for about a week and decided it takes too long to get bright enough so back it went, We got another one same price in the box!

These Samsungs have it all:Entertainment mode ready gor the future 3D HD gaming,Slim design and...
...

sandi57 says "Finally a paiir of gardening gloves that you'll love!" about Atlas Gardening Gloves

Need a great pair of gardening gloves or a great idea to prevent your hands suffering from the effects of dirt or a Wonderful Gift for a Gardening Mom or Friend, I found them for you! I have 2 solutions to offer. May you and yours enjoy gardening again as much as I am now able.

I have just purchased really nice GARDENING GLOVES at Thompson and Morgan seeds. At the site, you'll find them located under Gradening Supplies. I received their catalog offering $10 off of $10 or less excluding shipping. But anyway the gloves are like $7.99 and are made by Atlas they come in pretty colors and say they are tough but let hands breathe. Here is their complete desciption of them:

Tougher than rubber, the nitrile coating protects your palms and fingertips, while the soft seamless nylon material lets your hands breathe. Ultra thin, allowing you to feel what you're doing, even picking up individual seeds!

Sure-gripping, unique and flexible. Tried and true favorites of both professional and...
...

sandi57 says "Make Your Christmas Memories Last Forever with yu Tree" about Our Traditional Family Christmas Tree that Grew As We Did & Is Still Growing

Traditions-The Woods Family Christmas Tree-

True Personalized Ornaments That will Last Forever

Sorry, I couldn't keep this too brief but I hope you enjoy the our idea of what we consider to be a True Ornament that will let your tree grow with Love and Memories year after Year!

This is how to recreate a Woods Family Christmas tree that will live on forever and continue to grow with your Family, if you let it and make it!

Every year, from the time the kids were babies till as time continues, once they were old enough ( before that I would make them for them). I would have the kids make a picture ornament with their name and the year on it for them. After they were about 2 I would cut the shape and the picture and do what they couldn't yet but that still got to decorate it, then I would laminate them.

Once they were in school we would use their school picture and cut it in a shape to fit the ornament they chose to make. The ornaments would be made with whatever we had on hand...
...

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL MAYTAG DISHWASHER OWNERS!!

If you own a Maytag Dishwasher you need to call 1 800 688 9900 to find out if your is a Fire Hazard.

Mine is Model MDC4100AWX, but it is not the only model involved!

You will find your model number in the upper left hand corner of the inside frame when you open the door.

I received a card that I thought was for an extended warranty and threw it away. Silly mistake I'll never make again!

Thank Goodness I received a 2nd one telling me to call 1 800 688 9900 to answer some questions because my Maytag Dishwasher may be a Fire hazard;especially if I ever used any rinse product like Jet Dry. Naturally tell them yes whether you have or not because you may in the future then what?

I called the number and answered the questions only to find out that mine was among those that are a fire hazard. It took about a total of two minutes more. Once it was determined that it was among the fire hazards a real person came on the line.

He then took...
...

This is for the Gals who still Love their jeans but are starting to feel too stiff in them and can't move around good enough in anymore. Well Levi didn't leave us down. They are the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn, so comfy I'm starting to donate the rest.

My Daughter's bought me my first pair. You can get them at Penneys on sale for $29.99 if you watch for the sales. When I put those on I knew I'd never wear another pair, Did I mention they're Boot cut!

They look like denim but are acually cotton with a little spandex for bending and stretching.

The only downfall is the pockets are small because they are part of the slimming.

I had to laugh when the woman I bought them from who was selling them from her sister's store wanted to know why a women whowears a size 6 would need a slimming jean. Hmmm, don't we all get a little ouch certain times of the month, there nice for that and they seem to give the ole butt a little lift in the process. making you feel 20+ years younger.

Well that's...
...

I only want to praise the University of Pittsburgh as well as it's branches.

I am the Mother of 5.

Three of my Young Adults are University of Pittsburgh Graduates.

My Oldest Daughter graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering located at the Main Campus Pittsburgh, PA. She's quite a young Lady with her degree in Chemical Engineering who had a job waiting for her with a Fortune 500 Company upon graduation. She did an Internship with Mine Safety In Pittsburgh, PA. The only drawback to her job offer was that she had to relocate to Wisconsin until there was a job opening and she gained more experience, in the companies home office which is naturally Pittsburgh, PA.

My Oldest and Only Son graduated from The University of Pittsburgh's Greensburg branch with a degree in Computer Science who had a great job within 3 months of Graduation. He is working with a company who is pretty much going the way of turning the gases at Landfills into Methane gas and he is the...
...

sandi57 says "Get a Kirby, get a sweeper for Life!" about Kirby Vacuum Cleaner

I bought a Kirby 10 years ago after recarpeting my House and seeing a demonstration. It's no hype they are the best.

They are expensive no doubt but after paid for you have a sweeper for life and your carpeting looks as new as the day you bought it, as in my case 10 years later.

Mine is 10 years young and is as amazing as the day I bought it. It can shampoo the carpets, although I tend not to like or use that feature except for maybe a quickie on a spill occassionally. It cam with the hose and tools, paint sprayer, sander, you name, and she can do it.

Although, they are heavy or were that is because they are so well built...definitely built to last. Mine is a Heritage II and is self driven so other than carrying it from room to room although it comes with a nice long power cord usually making even that neeless, the weight doesn't really matter.

Mine came with Hepa filters and I hadn't even heard of Hep yet so they are definitely before there time.

I was scared when the local office moved not...
...

We've owned a lot of digital cameras, pasing them on to the kids as they fly the coop, but the Sony Mavica (bought for a 3 week trip out West) is one we would never part with! We love the fact it uses mini DVD's which to us is the best media to store photos on, rather than memory sticks and then saving to the eand the to a DVD.

The camera has alls the modes imaginable plus a few.

Definitely the Best of the Rest!
...
