saltwaterhappy says "Like a good neighbor - State Farm is there." about State Farm

I have been insured with State Farm since I began driving; over 20 years now. Every time I bother to take the time to compare quotes, my insurance with State Farm is so much better a deal, plus, the have multi-line discount that saves a good deal. To get multi-line, I had to sign up for a hospitalization policy that cost nearly exactly what I was saving, so, I have hospitalization for free - no additional charge. They always are quick to pay - I've had accidents that were my fault, and accidents that were others' faults....

saltwaterhappy says "Man, these are some awesome garlic wings!!!!!" about J&B Wings - Palatka, FL

J&B Wings of Palatka, downtown, has the most excellent wings! They have about ten varieties, including hot, very hot, garlic, butter, you name it. If you walk in and order, it's fast, but even better, call ahead, and they will have them packaged up to go. These wings are just great, and I love...

saltwaterhappy says "Wings cooked three times - smoked one of those times." about Big D's Smokehouse - Palatka, FL

Big D's on Highway 17 between Palatka and Green Cove Springs, at the intersection of Highway 17 and West River Road, has a great menu. They offer all types of bar-be-que dishes of pork and chicken, plus, homemade sides like freshly made coleslaw and jambalaya. Prices are a bit above competitors like Sonny's, but the atmosphere is rather nice, and the wait staff is very friendly. Watch for passing trains to stop and engineers to trot across the highway for their...

saltwaterhappy says "BahamasAir makes it easy to travel the islands." about BahamasAir

BahamasAir not only has great rates, but the telephone booking agents are very, very helpful and will keep working to find the best connections, departure cities, and arrivals possible. Plus, unlike other airlines, if you miss a connection, they are not terribly upset; they just find the next connection for you. Flying later in the day to the smaller islands is likely to result in some delays, but everyone is very helpful and...

saltwaterhappy says "For taming curly hair, this product works wonders." about Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream Sleek & Shine 10.2 fl oz

Once again, the Fructis Garnier brand has produced a salon-quality product at a budget-friendly cost. This leave-in conditioner costs a fraction of salon-purchased leave-in conditioners, like sexyhair or others, and does the job even better. This leaves the hair silky, manageable, and tames the frizz. I would recommend this to anyone living in humidity and washing their hair in "hard water." This works...

saltwaterhappy says "Get that salon tan look for a fraction of the cost and time." about Banana Boat Summer Color Sunless Tinted Lotion

Banana Boat Sunless Tanning Creme is wonder in a tube. For a Floridian with no time to sit in the tan can at the gym, and uninterested in braving cancerous rays but wanting to wear shorts all year, this is the best. Sure, users must be careful to wash the undersides of the wrists after application, but, used on the parts of the body that normally tan, this product looks completely natural and attractive. Think like an artist, and only apply it to the parts of the body that would naturally receive sunlight - tops of arms, not underneaths, tops of legs, tops of feet, and so on, and it is very realistic. Users must be careful to wash their hands after use to avoid the orange hands, and it has a slightly strange smell, but is completely worth avoiding those cancerous rays or spending time and money to lie in a tanning...

saltwaterhappy says "Great value for the money - works great!" about Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream

After buying a similar product from the salon for $12.95, I decided to buy the most expensive leave-in conditioner at Walmart, as a treat for myself, and at about $3, this was it. Boy, I am telling you, it really is not all that expensive, and it is soooo worth it. My hair is frizzy and fly-away, and this tames it. I love it. It smells good and works well. Yes, it's a bit sticky, but washes off the hands very easily and is worth the slight inconvenience. I would recommend this product to anyone I see on the hair care aisle, friends,...

saltwaterhappy says "Expensive leave-in conditioner not much better than generic." about Sexy Hair Soy Tri-wheat Leave in conditioner

You know how you go for a cut and style, and your hair looks great? I do! Every time I go in, the hairdresser makes my hair look fabulous, and when I get home, I just can't seem to replicate that great look. Well, this time, I thought I would splurge, purchase exactly what she put on my hair, and maybe that was the magical trick to having my hair look just as great as she made it look in the salon. Well, I was wrong. I got this little jug of leave-in conditioner home, tried to use it, and on the third pump, the pump broke. I was not that concerned. I had paid $12.95 plus tax, but, I figured out how to pump the pump without the top piece, so I did not worry. I was going to use this exact same product that my stylist used, and my hair was going to look exactly the way it looked when she styled it. I was so wrong. My hair feels better after applying the leave-in conditioner, but it is just as fly-away and frizzy as ever. I would not consider that this product was any...

saltwaterhappy says "Great, effective and a value for the low cost." about Suave Invisible Solid Anti Perspirant & Deodorant, Sweet Pea & Violet

For an economical deoderant, Suave 24 Hour Protection is a great value for the money. It is effective, the scent is nice but not overpowering, and it works. Like most deoderants, users must be careful to keep it away from dark-colored shirts, but is works...
