saffista says "Approach with Caution" about Scotty's Brewhouse - West Lafayette, IN

The food and service at this place is usually ok at best, things that were initially homemade are now store bought (i.e. the cookie monster dessert). It is essentially bar food, but you can't expect much more in a one horse town.

Avoid this place like the plague when school is not in, the food just doesn't turn over as quickly and management clearly doesn't throw things away as they should. Once we got food that was dried out and we sent it back the 2nd time we got queso sauce that was a different color than usual but we were assured by the server that it was supposed to be that way...that night everyone at the table who had eaten it was sick (and 2 of us weren't drinking). You don't have to poison me twice...I won't be back.
...

saffista says "So good that I bought 2!" about Nintendo - DS Lite Console

I bought the first DS right after launch because I wanted to see what the hype was about. I actually found one on a whim walking through KMart. I bought the second one when the light version came out and I say it as a good opportunity to do some partnered handheld gaming with my partner. The games are great and most of them use the stylus well.

This system draws in all kinds of gamers. My mom recently bought a DS and Brain Age just to keep up her mental acuity. That led to other games like Lego Star Wars. She loves it!...

saffista says "Get active with your gaming!" about Nintendo Wii Console

I have been a gamer for about 30 years and had never been a huge fan of Nintendo until the Wii. I have to admit that it was difficult to find one when they first came out (and this is still the case now), but with a lot of dedication I did find one.

I am glad that I did. The games are great. The level of interactivity that is necessary draws in all of kinds of games from the very young to the very old. This system has all kinds of possibility.
...

saffista says "Can't Live without my Macbook Pro" about Apple MacBook Pro

I love my macbook pro. I bought this one to replace my old powerbook that I used for presentations while traveling and it has essentially become my primary machine. It runs fast and smooth with no problems. I wouldn't call it a "laptop" though as it gets pretty darn hot to the touch.

I would still recommend it without hestitation especially since this latest iteration has an Intel core can be dual booted to run Windows XP and Vista. No need to switch back and forth from desktop to laptop any more!...

saffista says "My teeth never felt cleaner!" about Sonicare Elite Professional E9800 Electric Toothbrush

I love this toothbrush. I got tired of buying the cheaper brushes over and over and decided to go with one with replaceable heads. I am so glad that I did, this is the best toothbrush that I have ever had and my teeth have never felt cleaner! I strongly recommend this toothbrush to anyone who is concerned about their dental hygiene....
