sachinag says "Good phone; terrible, terrible battery life" about Motorola Q Smartphone

I've had my Q for a few months now, and I've become very dependent on it. I use it more for checking e-mail (through Gmail's mobile application, not Outlook) and Facebook than for actually making calls. I keep the Task Manager front and center on the home screen, as the Q is a total memory hog that doesn't close programs when you exit them.

Huzzahs: 3G data, 3G data, 3G data. The keyboard is decent, but not as good as a BlackBerry (which has larger, concave buttons). The tic-tac buttons on the Q work, but you have to press them hard. I could type out messages faster on my BlackBerry, even though those don't have a dedicated period button. Voice quality is OK.

Gripes: the phone often has a lag between when I press a button and when it registers the keystroke, sometimes missing them entirely. There are also way too many times where it won't connect to Sprint's network. It can be fixed easily by turning off the wireless radio and turning it back on, but I have to do this frequently,......

sachinag says "Even better than you think" about Nintendo Wii Console

I firmly believe that Nintendo has been the progenitor of every major advance in video games since the introduction of the Famicom. The Wii does that through the motion sensors that everyone knows about - but it's flexible enough to handle traditional gameplay. To me, that's the genius of the device - you can play most games of your childhood quickly and easily. Plus, there's a power button on the controller to turn on the console. I bought the DVD remote for my Playstation 2 because I couldn't handle having to walk across the room to turn it on to play Guitar Hero II.

I'm here to praise the overlooked features of the Wii - the easy use, the ability to play older games easily, the web browser that has Flash (YouTube!), and that power button on the remote. The stuff people talk about - the motion controls, the Miis, the speaker in the remote - are also great, but everyone knows about those. I wanted to highlight what I felt were the overlooked features of the Wii.
...
