rozzwebb says "Expensive and does not hold up to wear and tear!" about Jansport Superbreak wheeled day pack

Against my inner voice, I strayed from LL Bean and bought my son a Jansport Superbreak wheeled day pack. With L L Bean, when there is an issue, you can return the item for an exchange or refund, no questions asked. Jansport has a lifetime guarantee, but you have to ship the damaged/broken day pack to the. This is 1) not cheap if you live across the country from their headquarters as I do and 2) for 4-6 weeks, you have no back pack. Why is this relevant? I bought my son a Jansport Superbreak wheeled day pack and within a few months, the nylon ripped around the edges of the pack from the wear and tear. I had to return the pack and wait. Jansport did send a brand new replacement but not in the original color. Well, six months later, we have the same issue with the replacement back pack. I don't expect this poor quality when I paid over $70.00 for the product in the first place. I should have bought from L L Bean and I wouldn't have had these issues.

Very disappointed!
...

rozzwebb says "Not like on tv!" about Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup

The Sheer Cover Mineral make-up was a very huge disappointment. The product and customer service both lacked! The ad on tv displays beatufiul skin coverage and an 'au naturale' look of the skin. I don't like heavy make-up or looking like a clown after I apply my make-up.

I watched the enclosed DVD on how to apply the Sheer Cover Mineral make-up and read the booklet. The coverage was caky and uneven. The concealer also caked but did not do much in covering red/discolored skin areas. One good attribute was that it was easy to get off---although I think it was because it cakes on. The coverage is definately poor and not worth the money! I returned the product. I did not use the entire introductory kit but did give the Sheer Cover Mineral make up a two week try.

The brushes that came with the kit worked well. I did like the brushes although teh prices quoted that they were worth is ridiculous!

Bottom line, save your money for another product!
...

rozzwebb says "A must have for tweens for enjoyment. " about nintendo ds

The Nintendo DS system is a great thing to have on family trips or when there is any waiting involved. It has been a life saver for my eleven year old son, in the car, on planes and in airports. We are a family who travels frequently and for my son to be happy and occupied in an airport during a lay over is a great thing!

The Nintendo DS system has good functionality, able to play both Nintendo Gamboy games and Nintendo DS games. Comes in many great colors. There are many games but some are diasppointing. My son has gotten a few games that he has been disappointed with and only played a few times. He has a few favorite games, Mario Race Kart being one of them. Guitar hero is another. A few of the Star Wars games have disappointed him. But there is an array of Nintendo DS games to choose from and there is bound to be a game or two, or three, to make you happy!

All and all, the Nintendo DS system is a good investment for your tween!
...

rozzwebb says "A good deal. " about LEGO BrickMaster

The Lego brickmaster club is a great deal all around. Every other month, a Lego set, although small, is delivered to our door. With it, is a magazine, filled with building ideas and examples of what others have built. It is a great source of inspiration for my son to build new creations. My son is very into Legos and loves it when the new Lego set is delivered. Also with the first delivery, is a free ticket to Legoland in California. The ticket is worth more than you pay for the year long club membership and deliveries.

We did have a few times when there were delivery issues. Once, we received an empty box. We also did not receive any delivery for one of the months we were supposed to. Lego customer service solved the problems both times and even extended the membership to make up for their mistakes. The club and customer service is great and we will renew when my son's membership is up.
...

rozzwebb says "Fun and easy!" about Nintendo Wii Console

The Wi game system is fun and interactive. The games require the game player to get off the couch! Varying degrees of physical activity is a must! The Wi characters are fun to build and personalize. The array of games is good---something for everyone. The Wi Sports are great! Golfing and bowling is great fun in your living room! The game choices are vast. This game system is perfect to get a family playing games together.

There are a few things that one has to get used to. On some of the games, there are more than one game controllers that need to be used. One can also spend a lot of money on accessories, such as sport accesories (tennis raquet, golf club, etc) or a racing steering wheel for some of the car racing/driving games. The games will play without the accessories, but the accessories do make the play more fun adn realistic.

Overall, the Wi system is very fun, interactive and very easy for someone like myself, who does not play a lot of videa games. My whoel family loves it!
...

rozzwebb says "Enables life on the go---camera, e-mail/internet, phone---great!" about Blackberry - Curve Cell Phone

I switched from an original Blackberry to the new Blackberry Curve, in eye catching red. I love it! The change to the roller ball took some getting used to as it functions differently than the old Blackberry, but so easy to use once you get the hang of it! Entering the personal information---contact names, nuumbers, etc, was a snap! This phone is so easy to use, I never read the directions. There is more functionality---I am able to obviously use as a cell phone but also surf the web in full color, send e-mails and texts as well as (my favorite feature) take and store photos! It is extremely handy to have a camera phone as you never know when you might want to take a photo!

I am able to receive my work e-mails whereever I am and respond. This makes my job easier. E-mails are received and sent out quickly and easily.

The Blackberry Curve is small and travels well. The phone is great to travel with---it even works in Europe on their towers which came in handy on a tour of Rome and Paris...
...

rozzwebb says "Soft, white sandy beaches...fantastic!" about Fort Myers Beach - Fort Myers, FL

Fort Myers Beach is a great place to visit, especially in the winter to escape the snow in the Northeast! The beaches are full of white, soft sand and great for relaxing and collecting sea shells. Nearby, ultimate quiet and relaxation await on Santibel and Captiva Islands if you want ultimate peace. Fort Myers Beach offers more to do and more people. A smaller version of Myrtlye Beach, SC, with hotels and restaurants lined along the beach. In teh general vicinity there is plenty to do and eat. Rent a car and explore the entire area!...

rozzwebb says "Fun book to read with a toddler." about Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day: A Musical

Fun book to read with a toddler. Alex is a small child with a large personality, having a really bad day. This book, in a lyrical fashion, goes into detail about it. Alex feels everything during the day goes wrong from the minute he gets out of bed! There are more books with this character. With the repitition, this book could be used to help teach your child to read....

rozzwebb says "Childhood revisited. " about Disney Cruise Line - Wonder

The Disney cruise was eight days of pure fun and magic! The private balcony in the state room allowed us to get away and enjoy privacy and sun on the high seas when we wanted. The sure volume of activites on teh ship allowed us to be social when we wanted to. The Mickey slide at the pool was one of my son'e favorite acitivities, as well as the children's area. Disney's private island, Castaway Cay was incredible! Dining was terrific, even the diningroom became part of the entertainment as the walls in one of the room turned from black and whote cartoon characters to full color through out the meal. The live shows were great---felt like Broadway. All that in betwwen seeing new, exotic Carribbean islands. A wonderful family experience!...

rozzwebb says "Natural, wonderful, beauty!" about Niagara Falls State Park

Niagra Falls is a beautiful site! My husband, son, myself and my parents took the July 4th week-end and vacationed on the Canadian side on the falls. It was relaxing and wonderful. Fireworks over the falls are glorious! There is plenty to do---shops, and aquarium, rides. One will not get bored. Also a casino for those who like a little gambling. But the main showpiece is the falls!...

I am not a frequent cell phone user, but when I am traveling for business or pleasure, it is important for me to have contact with work. I have the ability to view my personal e-mails and e-mails from groupwise at work on my Blackberry, as well as respond to them all. My office travels with me where ever I go! I also ahve my built in contact list and it is very simple and easy to add and delete info on that list. I am very happy with my Blackberry. You do not have to be a computer genuis to work it!...
