rostacy says "Crazy, ball popping fun!" about Playskool Busy Ball Popper

Both my 2 and 4 year old loved this toy. Once those balls started popping out and flying all over the place - they were hooked. I didn't see them move like that since they played with their Elefun - which is also a great movement toy! yes - the balls do go a little crazy - but if you put it in an area where you can fish them out easily - it's not a problem. One of te things I liked most about this - is that when you are done, the balls all go right inside - so when you go to play next time - the balls are all right inside waiting. This is such a great interactive toy - one of my ten best!...

rostacy says "Still can't get that song out of my head!" about LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

This is a great toy - don't get me wrong......however that song - get so annoying after a while. My daughter would press that button, over and over again until you wanted to put needles in your ears. We still have the console on our fridge and also use the magnets there or on our front door - which is aluminum and also holds the magnets well. But now that my daughter is a little older - pressing the buttons doesn't seem all that interesting - so she just plays with the magnets - and holds up all her works of art with them! ...

rostacy says "My daughter was smiling the whole afternoon!" about Hairspray

I had no clue about what this movie was about except for John Travolta being dressed in drag. Upon reading more about it I decided to take my daughter with me - who knew who Zac Efron is and of course she was ready to go. Although I was unsure how the message would be interpretted by my daughter once the dancing and signing was over - I still loved it. This was a great movie that my daughter could both enjoy and maybe actually learn something about the history of that era in this country. I had such a great time watching and signing along to the catchy tunes and so did my daughter. We vowed to buy the movie as soon as it comes out on dvd!...

rostacy says "What a ride!" about Beowulf (2007)

This was such a great movie. I only went to see this movie because my husband wanted to go and see it. I told him I would only see it in IMAX and to my surprize I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I have told so many people to go and see this movie - even if it was just for the graphics. Although I have to say, I remember having to read this story in school and I don't remewmber anything about it - but if I was shown this movie might have gotten excited about reading this story. What a great, great story. It also goes to show you that a classic, even when reinterpretted in todays technology is still as classic and magical as the day it was written....

rostacy says "One of the best video games for the whole family!" about Nintendo Wii Console

My husband and I played this game at a friends house with my 5 year old. We only played the free bowling game that came with it and we were hooked. My husband was able to find one that same week and even though the money should have been spent on other things he purchased it. Now my whole family has been playing it - including my 3 year old - who loves her Mii! I love that you can't just sit down and play - you have to get up and do your thing - whether it's playing boogie and signing your heart out or playing baseball and swinging the controller like you are in the world series. It keeps us all moving and playing together as a family.
...

rostacy says "One of the products I have in my kitchen!" about Pampered Chef Large Micro-Cooker #2778

This is a great product - along with the small micro cooker. I can use them to cook or reheat almost anything. I use the small one for melting butter or for chocolate and the big one for any large boxes of rice a roni or to reheat those big bags of frozen pasta and sauces direct from the freezer. The other great thing about this product is that clean up is always a breeze. I never have had either of them melt or become encrusted with anything. ...
