rossnd says "Heavy but nice" about Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop

I agree with the other reviews in that this is a heavy computer for a laptop. I hauled mine around for about 3 or 4 years. What finally made me break down and buy a new one was the blue screen of death. It all started after adding new memory. I'd get the blue screen of death about once every other day.

I never tried taking the memory out because it was just too slow without it. Then, after months of getting frustrated about the computer shutting down on me, I just bought a new one. A Dell of course. I had a Dell desktop that also went tits up on me after adding memory.

Advice? Don't add new memory to a Dell...buy it with all the memory you think you'll need!
...

rossnd says "Hard at first...soft after broken in." about Ikea Sultan Hasselbeck

This mattress was incredibly comfortable in the store. Once we got it home, it was hard as a rock! We've had it now for about 2 1/2 years and it is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had! We did get the mattress pad for it and that was also hard at first. It did soften up as well. I love the ticking that is on the IKEA mattresses. It's so soft. Not slippery like other mattresses.

Be careful with sheets though. You have to get super deep pockets otherwise the sheet just comes off if you have the pad and the mattress.

Overall, i would recommend...you just may want 5 monkeys jumping on the bed to break it in.
...
