robmer says "Clean and soft - my face has never felt better!" about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

As I get older I am more concerned about my skin and its condition. At a recent visit to my dermatologist I was diagnosed with rosacea. My dermatologist recommended Metrogel. They gave me a sample and a prescription. The Metrogel sample was accompanied by a sample of Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Wash. It is a double promotion and when I went to fill my prescription I also received an even bigger sample of the Cetaphil. — I am so impressed by this product. It is so gentle, yet it leaves my face feeling clean and soft. It smells slightly medicinal, but it doesn't linger. The only reason it smells the way it does is because they don't add any harsh chemicals to make it smell better. Kudos to them! — I purchased a full size bottle with a pump for easy dispensing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great face wash product. ...

robmer says "Nintendo has mastered a way to get "fit" with a video game!" about Wii Fit

I thought that Nintendo had outdone themselves when they came out with the Wii. Well, they have done it again with the recent release of the Wii Fit balance board and game. — If you like exercising or even if you don't like exercising this is the game for you! There is a range of different games on the disc including: yogo, strength training, aerobics, and balance games. My personal favorite is the ski jump although my kids keep beating me at it. You can unlock new games by spending time on the balance board and by doing well in a specific event. — The balance board serves a duel purpose as a scale and also measures you BMI. You get your weight and BMI everyday if you do the Body Test and they even give you a Wii Fit age - which is fun! — You can go at your own pace and you can complete as many lessons as you want. This is a new and innovative way to implement exercise into your everyday life. It takes...

robmer says "More than just a close shave from Sweeny Todd" about Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Just got back from seeing this interesting film. First off, I am a BIG Johnny Depp fan. He can play virtually any role. I think he is a great actor. — This film is loaded with music and singing. If you aren't into musicals, don't see this film. An interesting plot based on a musical play and a book from years ago. Sweeny Todd is a barber who has vowed revenge for his wife's rape while he was wrongfully imprisoned. — Sweeny Todd teams up with Mrs.Lovett to plot revenge and to boost her meat pie sales. This film is bloody but not in a gory way. — I don't think I will be purchasing the DVD when it is released, but I found the film very entertaining. — ...

robmer says "CJ Banks makes plus sized clothes shopping fun!" about C J Banks - Fairlawn, OH

I received a gift card to a Christopher Banks store for my birthday. I was told that they have a plus sized clothing store, "CJ Banks" where the gift card could also be redeemed. So I set out to buy myself a new birthday outfit. — What a success! The store was conveniently located at a local mall. (They have many locations - just check the website.) The store carries a wide variety of colors and styles. I found the styles to be very up to date. I gathered up a selection of clothing and headed for the dressing room. The dressing rooms were large which made it nice so that I could spread out my loot. — Everything I tried on fit. Wow - is this really a store? I am a petite, round person and it is often difficult to find clothing, especially jeans that fit. I usually just roll up the pant legs because even most petite clothing is still too long. This store carried a petite line and also a tall line of...

robmer says "Weeeeee with the Wii" about Nintendo Wii Console

Wow! Our family received this as a gift from a favorite Aunt as an early Christmas present. Almost the entire family can play. Our four year old is getting the hang of it, but the 2 year old is still too young. The 12 year old and the 9 year old absolutely love it. — Wii Sports came with the console. The sports disk includes: baseball, bowling, tennis, boxing and golf. The on-screen instructions tell you exactly how to use the controller. These are great games even for beginners or for the not-so-good gamer like me. (I bowl better with the Wii than I do at the bowling alley!) — We've had a few problems with disk errors, but not enough to be concerned. Overall, we love our new Wii. We would recommend this system to families with children of all ages expect those under 3. Everyone will love the Wii. — ...

robmer says "More Candyland Fun" about Milton Bradley Candyland Castle Game

My 2 year old got this game as an early Christmas gift. What a great game! She needs a little assistance with the game but it is recommended for children 3+ years. My 4 year old absolutely loves it. — The instructions are easy to follow. The game is simple, yet fun. I think it's better than the original Candyland! — The only drawback is the storage. Game pieces are stored in the castle top and the gingerbread boards are placed in a slot at the back. No box so pieces could be easily lost. — Overall - great game and a great gift! —...

robmer says "The best "rash" decision you will ever make!" about Pinxav (pronounced Pink Salve) Diaper Rash Cream

Pinxav (pronounced Pink Salve) is the best diaper rash cream I have ever used. I am a parent of four children and we have used every kind of cream we could find. I received a tube of Pinxav at my baby shower for my third child. This stuff is great. The area hospitals use it frequently, so much that sometimes it's hard to find in the stores here. — It has many uses. You can also use it for treating bug bites, heat rashes, sunburns, poison Ivy and chafing from athletic activities. We even use it for chapped lips. Recently we have had a bout of a stomach virus in our house. Everyone, including the adults have used the Pinxav. This is the best stuff around. It virtually works overnight. Nothing is better at relieving painful rashes. — You can find Pinxav on the internet at Pinxav.com. I am from Akron, OH and we have the cream locally. If you can't find it in the store - ask your...

robmer says "Music to my ears!" about Sirius Satellite Radio

I recently purchased Sirius satellite radio for my husband's birthday. What a great gift. There are many different radio channels. The family/kids channel and the pop/rock channel are a couple of my favorites. The model I purchased shows the song and artist which is a great feature for us moms who are out of the loop sometimes. Now I know the names to some of my favorite songs. — We are currently using Sirius through a boombox which I purchased with the satellite radio. It was a little tricky at first. We had a hard time getting a signal inside of our house. We tried a couple of different rooms and finally found one that works pretty good. We had to put the antenna (included with boombox) outside. It is indoor/outdoor. We have to adjust the antenna every once in a while. — We are going to try hooking it up in the family van next. Overall it's fun stuff! —...
