rlewi17 says "A different experience each time" about Sears Essential - Palatine, IL

This store seems to be be hit or miss. Since this is my closes store i do visit it alot. Sometimes the sells people are helpfully and then other times they seem angry with me for asking where something was. Another time an associate told me that i may want to go down the road to Target instead to locate a product. But that happens every now and then i guess. Thank god for the always friendly cashiers though, once one actually left her register to help me find something in the mens department. After asking me if i was able to find everything ok and me saying no. She took the extra time to help me go back and look again and locate the item....

rlewi17 says "A Good Dining Environment" about Pete Miller's - Schaumburg, IL

Pete Miller's a great restaurant that just opened in Schaumburg. I had dinner there the other night with my girl friend and mom. It was a nice environment, unfortunately we got there a little early and missed the music but i hear it's pretty good too. I would recommend the the Hamburger if that's your sort of thing. It was out of this world !!!! but they also have really good seafood and steaks. The wine selection is outstanding and the bar menu is good. I'm planning on going back there next week to try the steak and check out the music. I would recommend you check out this place if your in the Schaumburg area....

rlewi17 says "Something different" about Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon

I was a little curious as to what thisUbuntu stuff was all about. for the last 10 years off and on i've used some kinda of Linux version. Mandrake, Suse, Fedora I've tried them all. I finally found one that i like. Its simple enough for my mom to use to check her email, burn a cd, and much more. Yet it's tech appealing enough for me to use everyday with out getting bored and wanting to blow my brain's out. A few weeks back i made the big jump into the deep end and migrated all my home PC's and how server to Linux. My laptop and desk are both now running ubuntu and my home server is running fedora. I've nothing but good things. They all backup automatically and update security issues with out any issues. The part is IT'S FREE oh last the strangest thing happened a new version of Ubuntu came and my computer asked me i wanted to upgrade for free. Wow what a concept a free upgrade to a new operating system version....

rlewi17 says "~Meh~" about Nike sneakers

When i was i high school, which was not to long ago i use to buy Nike's cause they were comfortable and cool. What i didn't realize was long a pair would last me. I still have a pair of Nike from 1998 that i love. Last year i bought a pair of those new all the rage Nike Shox i love they way they feel. Sometime i find myself singing " I'm walking on sun shine" no really I'm weird like that. But anyway it's only been a year but they seem to be falling apart already. Have the quality of gym shoes decreased that much? around the same time i bought a pair of dress shoes and that i wear i would guess and say 200 + days between last year and this year and there still holding up just fine....

rlewi17 says "8.99 for everything---what more can i say" about Steve and Barry's - Port Washington, NY

If your looking for a really good price, your a normal size person and If you don't mind really poor quality of clothes. Steve and Berry is right for you, I'm trying to down the store as avid shopper i find myself in their stores a lot of the time when in a rush for pants and shirts, and now shoes. No really i have at least 8 of the same pants because it's cheaper to buy new ones then it is for me to go home and do laundry. Associates in the store our friend i can't figure out what it is but they are just that way. Kind of hard to find but meh whatever....

rlewi17 says "Easy enough for your grandma to use" about TiVo - Digital Video Recorder

The TIVO is a simple device. I bought mine from Sears three years ago. Two hours before the super bowl and had it setup and running be for kick off. over the last few years my TIVO series 2 had evolved from a recording and playback device to a vital part of my home entertainment center. Connected through my home network via the usb expansion port I'm able to download new movies releases from amazon.com, along with music and pictures from home computer....
