rjanski says "I can't wait for the DVD!" about Bolt

I went to see this with my kids and I usually hate cartoons but I can't wait for this one to come out on DVD. This one is right up there with Toy Story or Monsters Inc. I will definitely buy this one for the kids! It was full of action and laughs. There was no bad language or vulgar comments. It was full of good morals (like loyalty and friendship) and no pushy agendas from the film industry. It was a good wholesome movie that the entire family can enjoy. Some of the action was a little violent for children under 5 but the violence turned into some funny humor to ease the moment. My youngest is 5 and he wasn't scared. It was mostly just things blowing up and no blood or guts. My family had to tell their favorite parts when they got in the car and they also brought up different things they had learned. I hate leaving a movie feeling like I waisted my money and I left Bolt feeling like I got my money and then some!
...

rjanski says "Not much of a plot" about Alvin and the Chipmunks

The movie was cute and it kept the kids attention most of the time but when we left, my husband and I kind of asked, "What was the point?" There was no real message for the kids to learn...other than not to be screwed by the record companies. They talked a few times about being a family but there was never any real heart warming scenes that made you "feel" for them in that way.

There was a lot of rude comments, like "Make love to the camera" and then one of the chipmunks slapping his butt like he was in some porn movie. Luckily the rude suggestions were a little over the kids heads but did make them laugh and might be a little embarrassing if they repeating them while Grandma is over for dinner!

I was kind of hoping for a little bit more music or funny mischief from the chipmunks. It seemed a far leap from the chipmunks we were used to as kids. I like the new realistic effects but I want the old trouble making chipmunks back =)
...

I bought these because I was making a kitty litter cake and called for a plain cookie. I never would have tried them any other way. In a way I wish I never had tried them. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!! Now I crave them. This is a cookie that everyone should try. But beware...you can't eat just one!!!!...

rjanski says "Not a healthy eater" about General Mills Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch

I am usually not a very healthy eater and just don't like the taste of food that is good for me. When I saw these on the the shelf, I passed right by without a second thought. Then I got a free trail box in the mail and reluctantly I gave them a try and loved them! They are crunchy and the mix tastes like a cinnamon granola bar. Mixed with the Cherrios, it is a great combo. The whole family loves them and it makes me feel better to think they are getting some nutrition for breakfast instead of marshmallow sugar cereals....

rjanski says "Servings are way too small!" about Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper Microwave Singles

I bought these for my kids and my older kids are 8 & 9. They need about 3-4 packages a piece to fill them up and they don't really like them that much. It isn't worth it to me to buy these when I have to cook so many packages at one time. The servings are more toddler size portions....

rjanski says "Needs more taste" about Nabisco - Oreo Cakester

My husband bought these and I thought they would be more chocolatey. They were rather bland and not as sweet as expected either. My kids hate the size and always want more because they are very light and not very filling. My husband does like them but he will eat almost anything...LOL. Good idea but needs some work!...
