If you don't have one look for mine it is Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue.  We need all the money we can get. And every single cent we get goes to our dogs we have rescued. None of our volunteers get reimbursed for anything including gas. We rescue Boxers every day and they are never adopted until they are medically cleared. If that means surgery then we get them that. Subscribe to Mousesavers.com. It gives great ideas to cost conscious travelers.  If you are traveling with a pet do a search for hotels that cater to pets. We stayed at the Radisson Maingate for $70.00 a night and was able to take our two dogs. There was no extra charge and the hotel was only 10 minutes from the main gate. They have shuttles that will take you to and from the park. Try to travel there when kids are in school. You will find that it is less crowded. We usually go in April or May and have found that we hardly have to wait for a ride. Something I won't do is wait for a ride!! The Internet is full of great info so search before you go. If you want a beautiful hotel and spectacular beaches then Hotel del is for you. Located on an island south of downtown San Diego it is a great place to stay. Although a little pricey it is worth the money. Centrally located to downtown, the seaside villages and the great beaches I think you will be happy you stayed there. It is also a famous hotel for celebs now and long ago. Have a great trip. Ask the locals for great places to eat. There is so much to choose from.... I have fostered a boxer and ended up adopting him. I am grateful to the rescue for letting me know how important it is to rescue a dog and not buy one. There are so many animals out there that need forever homes. If you know anyone that is considering buying a dog, tell them about petfinder.com. They have every kind of dog, cat, animal possible for adoption. Just pick a breed and your community and you will be amazed how many are available in your neighborhood just waiting for you to love them.... It was the best decision on toys I made for him. Before the Kong he ATE everything he could find on the floor or trash. I finally came across the Kong and bought it. He loves it filled with a dog cookie and peanut butter. He also likes the canned cheese on top of the bone. He plays with it for hours and keeps him occupied and out of trouble. Again the best thing you can get for your dog. They come in several sizes. Make sure you get the right one for your dog or puppy....
