reviewgal3 says "This site makes gift giving and receiving easy and fun!" about The Things I Want

TheThingsIWant.com takes the wish list idea to new heights of greatness. Not only can you use this site to create baby registries, wedding registries, and gift registries, but you can also create lists to remind yourself of things you want to buy for yourself and others!

Here's how it works: When you register, you can download a button to add to your toolbar that says "add to TheThingsIWant." Then, as you surf the Internet and browse or shop, you can click on that button to add something to a specific list you create on TheThingsIWant.com. For example, right now I have three lists on the site: one for my son's Christmas list, one for my own Christmas list, and one for things I want to buy for others for Christmas. Then, as you create lists, you can decide whether you want each list to be public or private. I made the list of things I want to buy for others private, but my Christmas list and my son's public. This way, others can search for the list and find things to buy.

You also have the......

reviewgal3 says "Much easier to find recipes here than in a cookbook!" about All Recipes

I don't consider myself the world's greatest cook, or even adventurous in the kitchen. That's why I like AllRecipes.com so much. They have recipes for cooks at every stage of development, from the beginner to intermediate, to the more experienced chefs out there. Sometimes if I have certain ingredients (say, chicken and mushrooms) and want to find a recipe to incorporate both, I just go in to the search box and type "chicken and mushrooms" and up pops 10 to 100 recipes with chicken and mushrooms in them! I can scroll down to see which ones fit my needs the most. Reviews by other members also give me a better idea which recipes to try and which to avoid. Other members often suggest additions or deletions to the recipes as well, which I sometimes use. All in all, this is a great, free site, light years ahead of the old standard cookbooks, and so much easier to find recipes than in cookbooks!...

reviewgal3 says "One of the worst sites of its kind!" about cashcrate

I'll admit, I'd never heard of cashcrate.com until I read the review here at Viewpoints.com. It sounded pretty good, so I decided to give it a try. I filled out the required information, and quickly was taken to a page where I could choose which surveys, offers, etc. I wanted to complete for incentives ranging from 0.40 to 0.75, each.

After clicking on one which said it was for a free sample of Loreal Vive Pro, I was taken to a page where I had to accept at least one offer for more information, daily jokes, or something else I did not want. When I decided this was not for me and wanted to get out if it, I tried to close the window. Well, pop-ups galore came flying at me from my computer, and as soon as I closed out one, five more would appear! This is exactly the kind of site I DON't like and try to stay away from!

For a much easier, more worthwhile moneymaking experience, try some of the other sites like mypoints.com or zoompoints.
...

reviewgal3 says "One of the most innovative educational programs for preschoolers" about Word World

Word World has quickly become my 3 1/2 year old son's favorite show! And it's educational, which is a bonus!

This innovative children's program revolves around characters who are made out of letters that spell their names ("Dog," "Sheep," "Duck," "Frog," etc.) In fact, everything in Word World is constructed from letters. My son now knows how to spell the words "house," "barn," "drum," and "horn," just to name a few. I was impressed with how quickly my son picked up on this concept and was reading the words on his own, before the characters told the viewers what the words were.

For some reason, this cute little show has become the end-all, be-all for my son. Now that he's in preschool and can't watch it when it's on, I've been taping it for him and the first thing he wants to do when he gets home is to watch it. In fact, if he had his way, he'd watch all of the episodes I've saved on tape every day, over and over again!

The only complaint I have about this show is that there aren't enough......

reviewgal3 says "Sometimes boring, but never disappointing!" about The Young and the Restless

I confess: my favorite show on television is The Young and the Restless! And I'm not a sloppy housewife who sits at home on the couch all day eating bon bons and watching TV!

I've been a watcher of The Young and the Restless for the past 20 years, since I was in high school. In the summertime, I would talk to my best friend on the phone while we each watched and hashed over plot lines and characters. During the school year I taped the show and watched it when I got home.

When I entered college, my love for the show grew. It was a nice way to escape the problems of everyday life: to get involved, if only for an hour, with fictional characters' problems (and boy, do they have them!) Then when I started full-time work, I would tape the show and look forward to sitting down when I got home, propping my feet up, and enjoying getting lost in the everyday situations depicted in the show.

That's another reason I love this show: the plots are much more realistic than they are in other shows (I grew......

reviewgal3 says "I can't think of a reason anyone should not join MyPoints!" about MyPoints

I've been a member of MyPoints since 2000, and the program just keeps getting better and better. When the site first started out, there were just a few ways to earn points. Now, however, I earn an average of 50 points each day, just reading and responding to emails, taking small surveys, and occasionally purchasing items from MyPoints partners.

There are many ways to earn points at MyPoints. One, you can refer others to the site and if they sign up, then earn 125 points, you get 100 points for each friend you refer. The easiest way to earn 5 points is to read and click on emails sent through MyPoints by partners. These could be from stores advertising that you can earn "10 points per dollar" for a limited time at the store. Just for clicking on the button in the email to learn more, however, you can earn 5 points. If you get to the site and decide to purchase something, then you will earn the subesquent 10 points per dollar.

Other emails sent from MyPoints may take you to a survey for which,......
