renodsgnr says "You've gotta try it!" about Intelligentsia - Chicago, IL

If you have not stepped foot into an Intelligentsia yet, stop what you're doing and google them to find out the're exact locations in Chicago. Make every effort to walk into a location and enjoy one of their cups of coffee. These guys and gals really know what the're doing and what the're talking about. They are true baristas and have a true LOVE and respect for coffee and the coffee drinking experience. Nothing comes in comparison. You'll drop your Starbucks in a heartbeat!...

renodsgnr says "Liberal arts in the heart of donwtown" about Columbia College Chicago

I graduated from Columbia several years ago so I can speak of my experiences from back then.....it was a good liberal arts school with the great asset that many schools are lacking - teachers that are actively working in the field that they are teaching about.
I have to admit that I had some terrible teachers because they were part time and didn't necessarily have the "teacher" qualities in them but I had just as many teachers that were very good. They really put a practical spin on projects and what life would be like outside of the 4 walls of the school. Simply put, they practiced what they preached.
Great school for graphic design, TV & broadcasting and photography!
...

renodsgnr says "A page turner that you won't want to miss" about The Other Boleyn Girl: A Novel

I am only about half way through the book but I would definately recommend it! It has a great balance of love, hate, betrayal, and insight into how people lived long ago.
Although there is history contained in the novel, I am not sure how much of it there actually is.??? It might seem intimidating to some because of its 600+ pages but don't be scared off by that.
The only thing I have questions about is the language used throughout the book......the majority of it is more of a "contemporary" dialogue....not something that you would encounter back in those days....

Although there are some minor "limitations", there really isn't much to complain about with Pandora. Sure there's quite a bit of advertising on the site but so what? All you have to do is sign up your email address and that's it folks! You're on your way to free music! It's as easy as that! You can also share your stations with others and vice versa......I've come across a lot of new artists that I had never heard of that really peaked my interest. Sign up today! You won't be disappointed....
