http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/redfoxco Wed, 26 Nov 2008 16:16:11 GMT Reviews by redfoxco http://www.viewpoints.com/Garmin-Nuvi-680-review-0ef23 I bought my Garmin Nuvi 680 about 5 months ago and have really enjoyed it!  It powers on and gets a satellite lock very quickly, does a decent job of pronouncing street names, and so far, the directions have been spot-on.  I like the built-in FM transmitter and often use it to listen to audiobooks.  Audiobooks, pictures, and music are super easy to load onto the unit from a PC.  I also like the bluetooth feature and use it for hands-free cell phone use.<br/><br/>I also signed up for the MSN Direct free trial and have found it useful for finding low gas prices and avoiding traffic delays.  I do wish that the MSN Direct service would list prices for more fuels than regular unleaded (I drive a diesel vehicle) and it doesn't usually have price info for rural areas.<br/><br/>I have three complaints about the GPS unit so far:  (1) the touch screen could be a bit more sensitive, (2) I really wish it would display altitude, and (3) it would be nice to have dedicated volume buttons.<br/><br/>Overall, it was a great purchase.......
