reddrockss says "Best Chinese Food within 100 Miles of Oscoda" about The Hunan - Alpena, MI

My Step father who raised me was a chinese chef. I am accustome to great chinese food.
The Hunan has an all you can eat buffet that is great for the budget. Their menu is reasonable priced and they have the best chinese food within 100 miles of Oscoda/Tawas area in Michigan. Well worth the drive to Alpena. There are some really bad chinese places in our area but the Hunan is NOT one of them. They've got great service and are very very clean. I recommend them to anyone looking for great affordable chinese food at a place with great atmosphere and decor. They have a great drink/wine selection and wonderful portion size. There isn't anything on the menu that I don't like.
...

reddrockss says "Alot of Bang for your Buck" about Save-A-Lot - East Tawas, MI

Nothing frustrates me more than to have to be forced to go to the local grocery store and get absolutely nothing for my money. I can go to a local grocery or a chain grocery like Wal-Mart and end up getting one bag for 50 dollars and feel like I came home with nothing, I can go to Save A Lot however and come home with 3 bags of groceries for my 50 dollars. I am constantly frustrated with hearing through the media that we as consumers are not feeding our children properly and that our children are junk food junkies and to that I say: "When you provide a bag of Apples to people for the same price as a bag of potatoe chips then more people will buy the apples. I went to a local grocery and my daughter wanted a bag of mixed fruit (oranges, apples) and I never deny my children the food that is "good" for them..so we put it in the basket. When I got to the lane to pay the cashier was compelled to ask me "did I realise that the bag of fruit was 10 dollars?" and I said: "No" and she said "do......

reddrockss says "Well worth the affordable investiment" about Kia Spectra - 2002

I purchased this car in 2002 right off the lot with 7000 dealer miles on the odometer.
In North Carolina at Pinecrest Dealership/Pinecrest North Carolina. I now reside back in my
home state NE. Michigan.
I've had absolutely no mechanical problems with the car in the five years I've owned it.
The sticker price was 7,000.00 out the door. It had everything you could want power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, a/c, radio, cassette player, rear window defroster, dual airbags, 5 passenger seating (I've fit many more in the car, carpooling children) when neccessary. The only thing I would have gotten different if my budget could afford it was a better stero system and power windows and door locks. At the time it was all about the budget and this was completely affordable providing me with a car that was new and safe to transport my family and to get me back and forth to work. I would recommend anyone on a budget to look at the KIA Spectra it is alot of car for the money. ......
