rebvirgins says "A true classic" about Jeep CJ7 - 1984

Okay, I am well aware that Renegades are no longer manufactured. Haven't been since 1986, actually. But that doesn't take away from the mystique, the lure of a classic Jeep.

No, they were never particularly reliable. Yes, they used more gasoline than, say, the Suzuki Samurai (to say nothing of higher maintenance costs). But those rounded fenders, the fullness of the body ... no Jeep after 1986 can compare.

So any of you who have a Renegade, save it! Recycle it! It needs to be in a home and be loved. A person who not only doesn't even own a top or doors, but drives with the windscreen down. Let the wind blow back your hair.
...

rebvirgins says "Is there any tomato soup better?" about Campbell's Cream of Tomato Soup

Campbell soups have been around for many a year, and many a mom has dished it up to many many children, husbands, and other assorted folk. And it's oh so rewarding. A comfort food should be more than food that gives you that warm cozy feeling; it should be easy, fast, and simple to prepare. Campbell's cream of tomato soup fulfills all those criteria ... and many more.

Make it with water ... milk ... butter ... olive oil ... garlic ... fines herbes. Pour it over rice or noodles ... or slurp it from a mug.

It's always good to have Campbell cream of tomato soup on hand, and warm and fuzzy.
...
