rcgold says "Simply Amazing. The Best Language Software Available. Period." about Rosetta Stone Ltd. German Version 3 Home Edition Levels 1-2-3

Rosetta Stone Version is the one and only program needed to learn a language. The German version that I use is by far the most effective learning software that I have ever came across. This program had me speaking phrases and putting together sentences on my own only after a few units and lessons. — What makes the Rosetta Stone program so effective is its Dynamic Immersion Process. The program uses no literal translation and instead has you learn words or phrases the same way a child becomes conditioned to learn to speak. Unlike other programs, Rosetta Stone's Version 3 softwares review previously learned lessons on scheduled calendar intervals using its Adaptive Recall function. After using this program for about two weeks, I found myself randomly thinking and speaking certain words or phrases in German. Few words can explain the simple effectiveness of this product. With Rosetta Stone you trully recieve your money's worth. — On a secondary...

rcgold says "Not as effective as I wanted. Go Rosetta Stone or Go Home." about Nova Development Berlitz German Premier

The Berlitz German Premier was overall an average learning language software. The pack contained two computer programs for Mac and PC users (Before You Know It Flash Card program and Berlitz Language Learning System), a version for Palm Pilot, and four audio CDs. The main computer program, the Berlitz German Language Learning System, seemed to be outdated and was not very easy to operate. I found myself confused in how to start lessons or which section of the program to even be in. The other program, Before You Know It Flash Cards, appeared to be more up-to-date and effective, with its only redeeming quality being an electronic flash card display with pronunciation. — The four audio CD's that came with the program, basically Berlitz's German Guaranteed audio program, were not very sufficient either and taught in a very fast manner. The audio conversations left very little time to respond or repeat newly learned phrases in each lesson. I was surprised at...

rcgold says "I hope you Trust me enough not to buy Liquid Trust Enhanced." about Liquid Trust Enhanced Spray

Liquid Trust Enhanced does not create the effects it is advertises. The overly priced, scentless formula is supposed to create a sense of trust for others in your environment due to the formula's key ingredient, oxytocin. Oxytocin is a human hormone produced naturally in a part of the brain called the hypothalamus. The Enhanced Liquid Trust I purchased also included the pheromones Androstenone and Androsterone. These were supposed to create a noticeable sense of attraction to the opposite sex. — The product claims the following false material ,"Oxytocin influences "prosocial approach behavior". What this means is that it encourages people to be more willing to approach and trust other people. Because Liquid Trust contains Oxytocin, when you spray it on yourself, you raise the oxytocin levels of the people that you interact with. Without them even realizing it, you will find that people trust you more and are more willing to create lasting bonds with you. " — I...

rcgold says "German in One Minute Sessions. Short, Sweet and to the point! " about Radio Lingua Network Podcast One Minute German

One Minute Language German is a short 10 session podcast, available for free on iTunes, created by the Radio Lingua Network to give a brief and beneficial introduction to the German Language. Each session, taught by a German speaker named Julia, is about two minutes long and teaches a few simple words and phrases per podcast. I have found these podcasts to be highly effective and wish their were more than just 10 sessions. An enhanced version is available for purchase on the Radio Lingua Network website. The enhanced version is the same audio lessons with one difference, it flashes the word on the users iPod screen when it it spoken during the session; a PDF file with the lessons plans, vocabulary and phrases is also included. — The Radio Lingua Network also provides another German podcast on iTunes, My Daily German Phrase. I enjoy this program as well, but found One Minute German's speaker to sound more natural with better lessons. Other One Minute Language podcasts...

rcgold says "Hot Chocolate Anytime, Anywhere! An Amazing Innovation!" about Hillside Hot Cocoa Self Heating Beverage

The Hillside Self Heating Hot Cocoa is amazing. The product begins to heat itself after breaking its bottom seal and pushing in a button. The product takes about 5-8 minutes to reach its perfect, not to hot, drinkable temperature and even informs its user using a color changing dot on its case; the dot changes from pink to white when beverage is hot. — When I first tried the drink, it was at a perfect and adequate temperature for drinking. The product did not burn my tongue or throat while drinking it, the temperature was perfect. The container's drink volume is misleading. Even though the container seems to be filled with a lot of hot cocoa, it is not. Most of the beverage container is housing a heating campartment that heats the hot chocolate. This compartment runs up the entire length of the cup, allowing the actually hot cocoa around its cone shape thus heating the beverage. At $3 plus tax, the beverage does not supply enough actual drink. — The product...

rcgold says "Great Japanese language program! I'm learning from day one." about Berlitz Japanese Guaranteed

Berlitz Japanese Guaranteed is an excellent program for beginners to pick up on the Japanese language. The 4-disc program can be played at home or in the car and is iPod up-loadable. On disc one I have learned what to say when meeting someone and how to initiate a conversation. I like this program because of its simple teaching and adequately spaced pauses after phrases for memorization. The program does not come with any guide book, just its four audio disc, which is great for people who do not have time to sit and study a lesson. I would recommend this program to anyone who has any interest at all of learning the Japanese language. —...

rcgold says "Not a great audio program for beginners. Very fast moving." about Teach Yourself - Teach Yourself: Hindi Conversation

The Teach Yourself: Hindi conversation started off at a way too fast pace for myself, being new to the language. The program says it is for beginners or those wishing to refresh their Hindi, but I think that it is more of a quick refresher audio program than it is a teaching program. The male Hindi narrator was hard to understand, but the female was easily understood. Other audio language programs like Berlitz can actually teach, where as program like this just pretends too. I hope to return this item soon so I can get my money back, it was not worth its price. As much as I would wish to learn bits of another language, I am returning this item because it does not teach at my beginners...

rcgold says "Do not buy! Takes up too much of CPU's power." about Webroot Spy Sweeper Version 5.5.7

The Webroot Spy Sweeper installed quickly with ease. The program sneakily tried to install an extra google tool-bar to my Internet browser, but I prevented it. The program also had to go through the installation process twice, after downloading updates. — I eventually had to delete this program because it would constantly slow down my computer due to its constant need to update itself while running in the background. This program literally at times had my Windows Vista CPU gauge running 100%, when solely running on its own, a travesty that I should never have seen on my 500 GB hard-drive, 3GB RAM PC. — I had a terrible battle trying to delete this program because it wanted my other Vista users to verify the uninstallment and would not unistall unless disabled. I had multiple struggles trying to find the exit option, which was not highlighted as an available function at times, and could not stop the program from updating or running in the background....
