Is gym quality - the 20x60 tread is so nice and allows larger people to be comfortable on the track - the narrower treads on a lot of the other treadmills allow for heel catches that can cause injury -that extra 4 inches of width makes a tremendous difference. The fact that the treadmill is on casters and can be raised up to save space is great - the 12 % inclinne is even better - all in all - a great purchase !!!...
