rainbowsorbet says "Reed's ginger brews are a beneficial addiction." about Reed's - Premium Ginger Brew

I first tried one last summer when my stomach was upset. I was in such discomfort, I couldn't do anything but think of a way to get better. Then I remembered: ginger.

It's a tried-and-true natural remedy for digestive issues like nausea, motion sickness, crampy stomachs, etc. Unfortunately, most ginger ales (Canada Dry, Vernors) don't contain any ginger at all, so they don't offer health benefits.

They don't taste much like ginger either: more of a syrupy, vague flavor. Since I wasn't previously a ginger lover, Reed's was an acquired taste for me. But now I love it, love it, love it. And no wonder. Reed's Premium is made with fresh ginger root and sweetened with only pineapple juice and honey (it's an old Jamaican recipe).

Oh, and how did my tummy do? I felt some relief immediately, and 1/3 of the way into the bottle I was completely better.
...

rainbowsorbet says "Smart Balance is delicious and lowers cholesterol." about Smart Balance Margarine

Smart Balance is a natural margarine--no hydrogenation, no trans fats. It's delicious, and it uses a special ratio of oils proven to lower cholesterol. You can use it exactly as you would butter or margarine, and your food will be delicious. It costs the same as other margarines--what a cheap investment in your health!

It's basically like Earth Balance, but cheaper and easier to find.
...

rainbowsorbet says "Earth Balance is deliciouc and healthy." about Earth Balance Margarine

I live in a 60-person student housing co-op, and Earth Balance is our rallying cry at events. It's that good. Someone shouts "Earth Balance!" and we all cheer--we can't help it.

When I first moved in, I called home to send word of this new discovery. "It's a vegan buttery spread," I said, "and it's butterier than butter." I was especially excited because my delicious new find was non-hydrogenated (and this was way before the recent mass avoidance of trans-fats).

Four years later, I'm still in love.
...
