The Breadman TR550 is a great way to enjoy fresh, homemade bread in your own home. I love that I can choose healthful ingredients, throw them in the bucket, and walk away. Then my home is filled with a delicious smell as it bakes, and we get to enjoy soft, fresh bread for supper.

There are many different recipies for breadmachines: white, whole wheat, potato, and rye, all the normal varieties, but with the Breadman TR550 you can also prepare dough for cinnamon rolls or artisan breads, bake fruit breads like cinnamon-raisin, and muffins. It is such a functional machine and perfect for those days you just can't get to the store to pick up another loaf of bread!

My kids also like the Breadman. It is such a simple machine, my preschool son enjoys helping me measure and pour ingredients into the bucket, then setting it to make his favorite type of bread-white. I can choose which group to target or a combination of groups, each session is 10 minutes long. Can you really get a good workout in 10 minutes? I was plesantly suprised at how hard my body had to work during those 10 minutes!

Leap Frog has really improved the market of learning toys and activities for kids. They've recently come out with some wonderful toys and games for babies and kids including the Leap Frog Writer. The Writer, like other LeapPads, uses special books and cartridges to engage kids ages Preschool through the early Elementary years. It can read any LeapPad books; however the Writer includes a retractable pencil to use with its own specialty books. The Writer's books teach early literacy and handwritting skills to preschoolers, including numbers and letters, and has books for early elementary with "fill-in" answer blanks to improve its educational value.

I love the Writer for its ability to keep my 4-year-old son's attention for extended periods of time, teaching him valuable "sit skills" necessary for school.
