queenmaggiemay says "an easy bake oven for adults, lol" about West Bend PV436345 Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

This is my second West Bend Toaster oven, the first was borrowed by my daughter, never to be seen again. Amazing the things that got borrowed when she got her first apartment. In any case, this time I'm not letting it out of my sight.

I've found that i can really cook anything in it. It's great for broiling fish or making a small batch of muffins for packing in lunchs. I've made just about everything in it, brownies, homemade enchiladas, rolls, brownies, cakes, fish. Did I say brownies? Just wanted to be sure I mentioned the most important things.

I did find out the hard way only to fill the muffin cups part way and to have the rack on the lowest settings. What a mess! And if you forget to clean out the crumb tray, it will be kind enough to remind you by smoking.

I like the convection feature too. It cooks more evenly...
...

queenmaggiemay says "not just for family reunions any more." about GE Roaster Oven Model No. 169152

This is my second GE Roaster Oven. My first was lost during an out of state move. I never did find it. I finally got another after a wee bit of hinting around, ok alot.

I like the size and the color, it doesn't show every little drip that you miss like the older white ones. It doesn't heat up the whole house, a bit plus now that I'm in Texas. I love to cook and this is one of my favourite kitchen toys.

In addition to being useful for reunions and parties, I like to cook large amounts and freeze them for later use.Great for saving money, cook once, eat 4 or 5 times.LOL

I always spray mine down with canola oil, it makes cleaning later easier. I hate seeing those whilte ones that look like they've not been washed since the last time they were used, not really dirty, just stained and that bugs me.

I can cook anything in it that I can cook...
...

queenmaggiemay says "My Whirlpool Duet saved me from the horrors of the laundrymat!" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

I've had several different brands of washing machines and dryers over the years none even comes close to my Whirlpool Duet set. I finally found a washer and dryer thata can handle king size comfortors and large loads of greasy work clothes.

I've had my set for almost two years and the only problem that I've ever had was accidently locking the controls when I first got it. My fault, lol. I guess it really does pay to read ALL the instructions before you use it. It has a child safety feature in case your little ones are tempted to play with the buttons.

Beside the large capacity, I like the way I can remove the soap dispensing drawer to clean it, yes a neat freak, I clean the outside with a appliance cleaner too. Stop laughing.

It has a large variety of settings and timers which comes in handy. You do need to keep the gaskets clean and lint free but you have that with any washer and dryer...
...

queenmaggiemay says "i would be lost without my hamilton beach slow cooker." about Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker - Stay or Go Stainless Steel 33162

I've had my Hamilton Beach slow cooker for about 6 months now. i've a very busy life and wouldn't know what do to without it. It's great for everything from dry roasting to making a dump cake. i've been trying out alot of new recipes for it. It's great for precooking the meat for tamale filling ahead of time.

I use it at least 3 to 4 times a week. Would i buy another if something happened to it,like getting carried off at a family reunion, lol. That would be an unqualified yes.

It's easy to clean, but I spray the inside with canola oil just to be safe.I'm going to get another as I like to cook both the main dish and a desert in the slow cooker.

It's great knowing that when I walk in the door I don't have to rush around to get dinner on the table and it saves us money as we're not tempted to grab something on the way home from work, a bad habit we managed to break once I started using the slow cooker.

      And of course, the old...
...
