pscipio03 says "Just a great, fun and amazing car!" about Honda Accord - 2008

I am a car nut and over the past 12 years have bought a good number of cars. Every car I've ever purchased has been brand new- right off the lot. My burning checkbook is proof! Just for compairison, here is the list of cars that I have purchased:

1996 BMW Z3

2000 Jeep Wrangler Saraha

2002 BMW 325i

2004 Land Rover Freelander (worse car ever made had for 6 months)

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Lonestar Edition Crew Cab

2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L

Don't get me wrong, I'd still be driving that Jeef if I hadn't totalled it on ice and next in line would be the Dodge, but at 12 mpg, well, you can see why I went with the Honda.

My job has me on the road averaging about 3,000 miles a month. The Honda really has a sporty drive feel to it and is a blast to move in and out of traffic with. But here's the true reason to buy one-- THEY JUST LOOK AWSOME! I know the '07 owners probably hate us with the new ones, but man is it a cool car. I'm getting about 26 miles per gallon, and I still get the acceleration I had in my...
...

pscipio03 says "Fun to have around for videos and internet" about Apple - iPod Touch

I had to take back my first iPod Touch when it stopped allowing me to type certain letters on the touchscreen. The people at the iPod store in Dallas (where I returned it, I bought it at the one on Michigan Ave, in Chicago), were VERY nice. No questions asked, just basically printed out a new receipt and handed me my sparkling new Touch.

Now, that one incident aside, I haven't really had any bad problems with it. I would give it a five-star rating, but sometimes the 180 degree rotation of the screen sometimes either pauses, or actually doesn't happen at all. I have to rotate it back to the portrait position and then go to landscape again to sometimes make it happen. I do like how heavy and sturdy it feels, something you want when you purchase a touch screen. I also really enjoy the album covers in the landscape mode. And it picks up wifi FAR easier than my $700 Dell Axium 52v will.

Would I recommend it? Yup, but really only if you plan to use it for internet and videos AND music. If not,...
...

pscipio03 says "Buy a Garmin." about TomTom - GO 720 GPS Receiver

I have both a TomTom 720 and a Garmin 330. The Garmin is far more accurate (down to about 3 meters or so), while the TomTom gets me within about 30 or so meters. It can sometimes take up to 5 minutes for it to actually find satellites, which I never had with the Garmin. In addition, I never had interference from outside sources (tall buildings, etc...) with the Garmin like I do with the TomTom. And, if you aren't real comfortable with electronics, the TomTom is far less self intuitive. However, the TomTom does have far more options than the Garmin.
Bottom line, which would I recommend? The Garmin in a heartbeat. The TomTom is flashier and prettier, but it just doesn't have the, well how do I put it, the navigation abilities of the Garmin. And isn't that why we buy the darn things?
...
