proudARMYmom66 says "Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges...Wait! Yes we do!!!!" about Pogo.com

POGO.com is ADDICTIVE!!!!!!!!!!! lol!

When I first started playing on pogo.com, it didn't take long before I was hooked! There are PLENTY of games to play on their free plan-and they often have offers to be a Club Pogo member for a week or 2-sometimes longer. BUT, I loved the additional games available as a Club POGO member, that I joined Club POGO for a year at only about $35.00 for the entire year!! Its really a great deal!

Some of my fav games are: Qwerty, Phlinx, just about all their card games and slot machines and poker games...and word games too! lol

Each week, for Club POGO members, they have 'Badge Challenges' where you play Certain games to reach certain goals and are awarded special 'badges' when you complete each challenge! I reember a time when I thought..."I just want to play the games-who cares about the badges?" lol But NOW...I have over 8 pages of badges and look forward to each weeks new challenges!!!! lol

Besides the FUN of just playing POGO games, you can win cash!!!...
...

proudARMYmom66 says "A Whole New 'Level' In Automotive Service" about Checker's Quick Change - Lyndhurst, NJ

Checker's Quick Change is an auto-repair shop as well as a 'Quick-Change' Oil place. They use only Valvoline Oils.

Checker's is owned and operated by Frank Vitale, who has been in the auto-repair business for over 25 years. He is a rare-breed, in that he is an HONEST Auto-Mechanic! lol Which is why he has such a large and loyal following of satisfied customers!

No appt. is needed for most repairs and oil changes are just a 'drop-on-in' service. There may be a wait, depending on how many are before you for oil changes or if all the lifts are filled. But Frankie and/or his crew of other knowledgeable mechanics, will see to it that you are taken care of asap! While waiting, there is an inside sitting area in the office and there is always a fresh pot of complimentary coffee...and usually some baked treats or gifts of cookies for all, from his loyal and appreciative customers!

It is a great atmosphere and a friendly one as well. Frankie likes to chit-chat with his customers, even if he only has...
...

proudARMYmom66 says "A GREAT and CARING Pediatrcian!" about Louis O. Pupo, MD - - Sparta, NJ

Doctor Pupo (located in Sussex County, New Jersey) is a fantastic pediatrician, who see's children from infancy up until adult-hood.

He is a doctor who really cares and you can see that in him in the way he speaks to children and their parents. He is very thorough and thoughtful. He makes young children feel very at ease and un-afraid.

My children adored Doctor Pupo and we only left his practice due to moving too far away.
Last year my daughter was diagnosed with Lyme Disease by Doctor Pupo-as soon as he saw the tell-tale bullseye rash, he knew and sure enough, the tests came out positive. He was quick to act, not waiting for the test results to put my daughter on the imperitive and needed medication to stop the Lyme Disease progression and now, one year later, she is free of Lyme Disease!

Due to us moving an hour away, 3 1/2 years ago, we no longer go to Doc. Pupo and we sure do miss him as our pediatrician!

I can't stess enough what a great doctor AND person Doctor Pupo is.

Even my older...
...

Dr. Lubas is a fantastic and caring doctor.

His practice is that of Family Practice and he see's patients of all ages-from infants to seniors.

His 'bedside manner' is to be commended because he can easily adjust from speaking to a young child on their own level, to an adult, yet he doesn't confuse you with medical terms you don't understand.

He treats everyone with respect and takes the time to answer all questions and explain things without making you feel he is rushing through your appointment.

If you need a great Family Physician for all your family's needs, and for all ages, then Doctor Lubas is a doctor you should call.
...

Doctor Elizabeth Hawruk,(pronounced 'Hav-ruk') is by far, the best Rheumatologist for the care of Lupus patients I have even had the pleasure of seeing! And having Lupus, Fibromyalgia, OA-Osteoarthritis, etc...etc...I've seen MANY Rheumatologists! lol
She is known for her work with Lupus patients-a disease that is quite hard to diagnose and control.
And, she is well-versed in all areas of Rheumatology as well-I also see her for my Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia as well.
She is caring, kind, concerned and doesn't 'shoo' you out her door. She will spend time with you and is always ready to answer questions you may have. She is thorough and really knows her stuff!
I call her my 'God-send', because without her as my Rheumy...my Lupus would be out of control and probably still undiagnosed!

Her staff is very friendly and kind. The office has a great atmosphere and they even now have a LabCorp lab tech right there in their office, for convienant bloodwork done then and there-because if you are a...
...

proudARMYmom66 says "Imagine if there WERE no Amazon.com????" about Amazon.com

I am a MAJOR read-aholic!!! And the place I get MOST of my book? AMAZON.COM! They not only have a HUGE selection of pretty much any and every genre, they offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $25.00-and I can spend that in 5 minutes on books!! lol

In all the years I have been an amazon.com shopper, I have never had any problems at all with my orders or even WITH the ordering itself!

While having so many choices can be quite daunting, at amazon.com, you can really narrow your searches down to specifics! For example...I mostly read Christian Historical Fiction-so if I'm not looking for a particular book or author at the time, I will choose the genre of 'Religious'...then' Christianity' then, 'Fiction' then, 'Historical' then 'Romance'. OR, its just as easy to simply type that all in the search from the start! I usually type in Christian Historical Romance Fiction' and it brings up plenty of selections from which to choose and even narrow down more, say, via price!

Whenever I am looking for a new...
...

We needed a hotel room while traveling home from our son's ARMY Basic Training Graduation in Georgia. We decided to stop for the night and continue on home to Nj the next morning. We found this Microtel hotel while in North Carolina-it was pretty much thisclose to 2 other motels there as well-but I had heard that Microtel was a nice place to stay, so we went in to find out how much the rooms were-we needed 2 for the whole bunch of us. They told us it was $67.00 per night and we thought that wasn't too bad-then I decided to ask if they give Military Discounts, and the woman said "Yes, we do." So my Soldier Son, still in his uniform, stepped up, took out his military ID card and showed it to the woman, who laughed and said..."I probably wouldn't even need to see that-I just need to look at all your shirts!" lol! We were all wearing 'ARMY' shirts/sweatshirts!!! lol With the military discount, the rooms were only $55.00 a night!!! Even better!!!

So, we all went to our rooms and were plesantly...
...
