This website has a little bit of everything! These furry creatures that also exist online are a great addition to cyberspace! This site is created for kids and is definitely kid-friendly. The website is full of "ads" telling them to brush their teeth or play outside, and many of the games are educational. Kids can also earn "KinzCash," which they can spend buying things- what a great way to teach kids about money management! While the site is designed for kids, there are elements of the site that can pull just about anyone in! I find myself playing games or training my Webkinz (which I got as a fun gift from a friend) from time to time, despite being well past the recommended age for the site. Some of the games are even a bit tough for me! The down side is that you do have to renew your account every year by buying another Webkinz. This is really a small price for a whole year's "membership" but it is still a cost none-the-less. Overall, I think this is a wonderful site...

Webkinz are great products. What I like about them is they come in many many varieties and are reasonably priced. They are also well made (unless your dog likes them too - unfortunately for our sea horse one). The supply and demand stays in balance so no one is scrambling for the last Webkinz "chicken". My kid absolutely loves these little guys. Personally I don't understand the draw, but I'm not seven.... They are very reasonably priced which makes it very easy to have a birthday party and when parents ask what she wants I can include Webkinz and not have to worry that I am going to get a bunch of random gifts that will end up in the good will pile shortly. The variety is endless and there are so many that there isn't just one that you HAVE to HAVE. I also like that Costco sells them in two packs (two webkinz for 16.00 is a great deal). We like them so much that we are getting them for our younger nieces for Christmas. Not sure if boys collect them too, we have a family full of girls! ...

Webkinz is a great safe place for kids to play. There is no way to actually talk to people while on the site. We are very careful with the sites our daughter can use and so far Webkinz seems to be the safest. You cannot chat with each other at all. You can send a preprinted message when competing in a game like "good job" " wanna play again" ect. but none of the walking around "Hey hot stuff" you get on wizards realm or those other sites. The only down side is the toys run from $6 for Lil Kinz to $20 for the regular Webkinz but once you buy one you can play online all year for free. (Walgreens has the Lil Kinz half price once in a while) Also if you buy 1 a year all of your Webkinz stay active. My daughter has been on the site for a few years and has about 15 that she keeps track of. You play games for free to win Webkinz cash to buy food or clothes or stuff for their pets room so as long as you play games you keep going.

my daughter and i love this site we both play it i love the games and she loves the kins cash i make. it is very friendly and safe for younger and older kids the plushies are pricey but i usually wait till justice(limited too) has them buy one get one free or clearence. I also think they shold have more things for boys also it seems to be geared more to girls, i myself have no sons but i have nephews and im sure they would love to play more comfortably not thinking it is just for girls. i myself did not know about them till about 2 years ago when my daughter got her first one from her aunt for christmas and sence then she has been hooked it is safer than neopets and you are limited to what you can say and do safety wise. whice i love my daughter has a club penguin site and the things that she sees other people typing is appaling.so thumbs up to webkins

When my kids got their first webkinz it was like what is this. Now they have like 10 or more each and even I have two at this point. There are great games on this site. They are able to play with other kids like me and their friends. From any where and not just in their local area. They are able to learn responsability as well as they have to take care of their animal or pet that is on there. The rooms that they can make for them is so cute..

This was a great concept for kids and even some adults. It is fun and learning at the same time.

Great site and worth buying a new animal each year or sooner if you like!!

Three years ago, when the area of the USA, that I live in, became obsessed by webkinz, I really just didn't get what the big deal was. However, like many mother's when my daughter asked for one, I got one for her.

It only took a few minutes to get her up and running. I found that the site had games and jobs for the children to so that you can earn webkinz cash, that you need, in order to take care of your pet. There are so many things you can do that it appeals to kids of all ages.

The feature I like the most is that this site shuts down for the night before midnight, and does not open again till the next day.

It allows children to play with other children on line, and still be protected from some of the terrible things that are on the internet.

When my oldest was out of the country on active duty, my younger daughter and son, sent him a webkinz and then bought the same one for themselves. This became a way that they could play withand stay in contact withtheir brother, and it...

When my child asked for this toy, I wondered at first why she was so excited about it. My child explained to me that each stuffed animal allowed her to go online and register it. I was told that she would be able to play in an online world with all of the animals that she adopted. My child has numerous Webkinz animals and enjoys them immensely. She collects them and plays with her sister. I have three children and all of them ages five, seven and ten love these Webkinz and play together with them for hours. These Webkinz are both for younger and older children as well as boys or girls. Kids would love to receive these are gifts and then go online with them in there own virtual world. I would definately reccomend this toy as it is collectible and educational as well as a toy for all ages. Something for every child, from reptiles, jungle animals to household pets. I am sure your child will be able to find a furry pet to love.

Great rewarding online activity for kids. They are introducing access for ages 3-6 I believe soon if not already up. Games and quizs to promote learining in fun enviroment with reward system for kids to earn play money to spend on their pets. The items that you have to buy to get the codes can add up to this being a pretty pricy toy. My kids get to interact with friends who are signed up.

Webkinz is outstanding! When you are either online or playing with the stuffed animal you are having fun either way. Playing with webkinz helps with the imagination, creativity, and education of your children. My daughter has webkinz and absolutly loves it. Webkinz really effects children. How? Well first is that it starts with them wanting to collect them. By them collecting them it helps them put out goals to achieve more collecting. Also they learn so much when they are on the computer with them doing diffrent activites in webkinz world. Like in webkinz world they have all diffrent kinds of places to go. At quizzy's they learn so many diffrent things from what grade to be quizzed on and diffrent questions about animals, enviroment, and more. They also have a big responsiblity on there. They have to take care of their webkinz and make sure they have their teeth cleaned and have a good bed to sleep in for the night. This website is just a scam. It is a want-to-be Neopets.com, the ORIGINAL pet website (which is free, does not require you to buy stuffed animals that your kids will want new ones every week, and the plushies don't ever expire!!!) which is a shame. It's just a money - making - scam and it's a shame that they get small kids into this crazy, stupid scheme....

What a cute idea- Webkinz world brings their stuffed animals to life wile teaching them about money and responsibilities. The online codes are easy to use and set up. My kids love it

They earn money(called Kinz cash) by playing games and taking care of their "pets". With this money they can buy a rooms, yard, toys and games for their webkin. The games are pretty fun with different skill levels. The games are not very educational but they are fun....

The game is soooooo stupid. Its a good way to make money. Yeah the makers are smart but anyone who plays it has to be retartedd. My grandkids all love this site. They enjoy playing the games and earning little extra surprises that are sometimes given to their character. The site changes its look for different holidays so the kids are always excited to see what might be different. The whole site is colorful and full of fun....
