I discovered Deadliest Catch a couple of years ago when there was a marathon on Discovery Channel and I was hooked. I watched it from 12 noon until 11 pm that night, non stop. The bravery that these men &their crews show, amazes me. My favorite boat is The Time Bandit, with The Cornelia Marie coming in a close second. My husbands favorite boat is The Northwestern. He said if he ever went out on a crabbing boat, Sig would be the one he would want to be with.

Deadliest Catch is my all time favorite TV show and people that don't watch it, have no idea what they're missing.

I most likely would have not started watching Deadliest Catch if it were not for my Doctor. It was 4/14/08 and I was at the hospital having my daughter and the doctors performing my surgery were talking about it coming back for the season. Well needless to say I had to watch it....I had the time 5 days in the hospital worth of time. Well after that I was hooked, sotospeak. Never knew or wondered about the danger and difficulty it took to catch King Crab and Opilio crab. Watching this show has caught my interest and brought me into the lives of the crab boat Capitains and crew. Knowing that when the show ends their day/nights keep going on and that at any moment they could catch the mother load of crab or be caught themselves in the wrath of Mother Nature. Well worth watching.

Action.....Action....and more action. The Dealiest Catch is one of my favorite shows I could watch a marathon all day long. I am on the edge of my seat the whole time. The storms raging, the Baltic Sea or wherever they are that trip. It's always exciting. Can I just get some of the legs and some butter for dipping.......please bring me some of those crab legs. They are the largest crabs I have ever seen. I want some everytime I watch the show.

My cousin did some crab fishing for a couple Summers to pay for school. I had no idea what that was like. Now I do. Deadliest Catch is my idea of hell, and I am continually amazed at how those fishermen can do that job season after season. The money can be good, but the bone-chilling cold, the sleep deprivation, and the back-breaking work make it worth every penny. Personally you couldn't pay me enough! The fact that people regularly die doing this work make it all the more amazing. These guys have to be adrenaline junkies at the least. I also have to give a hats off to all the production crew of this show. Imagine having to endure all the conditions holding a camera. They are in a much danger as the rest of the crew - though I doubt that they get paid as much! The lot of them must be adrenaline junkies as well. It's between seasons of the show, but I can't wait until I can catch up with the guys on the Bering Sea again!

Wow, what can I say......The show, The Deadliest Catch is a very addicting show !!!!!

and I'm a girl, lol...it is sooo awesome, This show gets you from the get go !!! It is very intence because the whole entire show takes place on the rough high seas, and usally at night. It is extremly rough, wicked seas, tossing the boat around like it is a toy. Meanwhile these men are trying despiratly to hang on for dear life while trying to catch crab. It is also very dangerous. The equipment they are working with is very big, heavy and dangerous. They are dealing with heavy machinery, cables that are very large and on some kind of electrical pully system, that they can get caught up in very easliy if not careful.

They could easily loose a hand in one of thoughs. Also, they are always dealing with extremely cold tempretures, plus they work for days on end, without sleep. There is also alot of drama and personality clashes, but then again lets face it, they are all very tired and a little cranky....

My husband got me started on Deadlist Catch and wow its something else. Its crazy watching these teams compete to catch crab out on the ocean. They get stuck in every storm imaginanable and all the things you wonder about on those ships out on the ocean they show it all. Ive seen men go over board and everything. It gives you a new respect for what these men are doing. Oh my god the kind of money they can make! All though I dont know if it would be worth going through some of the things they go through to make that money. I love the way they show the teams and go back and forth showing their progress. Once you start watching its easy to pick your favorite boat and cheer them on from your living room. Its fun to watch and easy to follow it doesnt matter if you miss one episode or twenty you can turn it on whenever you want and be able to pick up right where you left off. Theres not to many shows that you can do that with.

The Deadliest Catch is a very interesting show. The whole familly can enjoy. The show is about several teams of fisherman that battle the elements, the winds, freezing temperature, hurricanes, you name it, they've been through it. The different teams of men are comical and you tend to have favorites, or certain team that you may be pulling for. Watch how these guys go out and have to work together in sometimes the worst weather conditions imaginable to bring in the catch of that season. See how they all become family while they are out, away from their friends and families, all give and take, working together to bring in... the deadliest catch!!!

Deadliest Catch has got to be the best show on television. This is the only reality show I watch. The whole family sits around and watches even the four year old. We can not wait for the newest episode to come on each week. The excitement of each episode is riveting. If we are going to be out for the evening we have the DVR set to record the show. The crew of the Northwestern has got to be one of the best of the boats. The Time Bandit boys aren't bad either. I am looking forward to the release of the 2009 season game. I like to play the game but I do not know if I would ever get on a fishing boat. Especially, after watching the two episodes about a Cod fishing boat going down and two people have still not been found. These guys have to work to feed their families though and I commend them for that.

The Deadleast Catch is one of the best shows I have seen. I hope it stays on the air for a longtime. This show keeps you in suspence the whole time. I never realized how dangrous a job crab fishing was until I started watching. The characters on the show are entertaning despite risking there life for our dinner.

I have been trying to understand why I love this show so much. On the surface it is footage of guys working, and what could be compelling about that? Right? Well, I think I have it figured out. First of all, these are great guys, hard working, lots of heart. And the job they are doing is almost incomprehensibly challenging, dangerous, strenuous. The most interesting thing of all is how the dynamic of teamwork is so essential to what they do. The way the guys mesh together to support each other is so intricate, so interesting, and ultimately so uplifting , that I really can not resist this show.

Yes! It's my husband's fault that I watch this show! I love the Deadliest Catch! My husband was watching it one night when I came home from work, and I've been watching ever since. This show really gives insight as to what life on the sea is actually like. I've gained a whole new respect for where some of my favorite foods come from! These guys work really hard. The work is exhausting and deadly. I have a great deal of respect for these men that put their lives on the line day after day. Deadliest Catch shows a bunch of men that really know how to pull together during rough, dangerous times to get the job done. They portray true kinship and excellent team work! It's all very interesting to me.
