I purchased this little recorder (SOny ICD P620) just to record thoughts while driving or doing what ever. I am currently writing an autobiography / modern philosophy book to educate readers about Suicide and its affects on those left behind and to introduce individuals to what is right and what is wrong.

Suicide is definitely wrong, but in the same breath, to express your feelings to the properly trained person can help you deal with your agony.

Dont take it out on the people that love you.

This little recorder will record for 260 hours ~ its great!

I am impressed with the sound quality of these digital recorders. Easy to keep lectures seperately in folders and download to laptop. It comes with digital voice editor software and has playback speed controls so I can type the notes. I can easily email the notes to all my fellow students who missed a lecture both the voice data as an MP3 file and the notes I typed. It is compatiable with Dragon Naturally Speaking Software that will automatically transform my voice data into text. When you buy from Sony it is included with the recorder. Wonderful for a psychology student or a therapist....
