First of all let me say i am not rich and i have used other formulas that parent choice has manafuaracted. Sorry i am not a good speller. I am very glad that they put the extra protiens and minerals for healty babies. My son is a heavy eater he takes quite a few bottles in a day. The first time he used this it did not settle with him. I was told it was the perticular formula they had used in that batch. When we got the same product just made at a different plant he was able to take it just fine. I did not realize that formula changed so much in just a couple a weeks. Always try two or more differnet batches of this product. Because one can is not for you doesn't mean the can you buy the week after wont be just fine. For me i would rather spend a lil more money and get a brand name that does not have to change its formula on a regular basis. i was very dissatssfied with this product and will not be buying it again for my son or any more that i may have.
...

bostonbrandy13 says "In this economy, we can still feed our infants healthy food!" about Parent's Choice Organic Baby Formula

Parents Choice Organic Baby Formula is a God send! Not only does my little Zoey LOVE it, but it doesn't rip a hole in my wallet, nor does it cause a money war between my husband and I!

Ever since changing to PCO, that's what I call it now, it seems as if Zoey has kept her food down a lot better, as if she is digesting her "num nums" and she has also gained some much needed weight. I have also noticed that Zoey is not as gassy as she once was when I had fed her other formula (not mentioning any names ;o)).

I am the type of person that always stocks up when I shop! I could have 5 gallons of Windex at home, yet still buy more just so I have it incase I have a sudden window dirt disaster; therefore, Parents Choice Organic Baby Formula is inexpensive enough for me to actually stock up on. No more scrambling to the 24 hour convieniance store because we are out of formula; instead, I open up my pantry and stare at the tower of PCO!

The only negatives I have to say about Parents Choice Organic...
...

I am loving the Parent's Choice Organic Formula! It was hard enough to formula fed, and then when I thought about all the chemicals typical formulas have it scared me even more. Being on a limited budget, I thought that organic was out of my reach. I was so relieed when my husband brought this home from the store. It is reassuring to know that I give give my baby a healthy alternative to breastmilk.
...

I was really disappointed that I wasn't able to breastfeed my baby, so I decided to at least choose the best formula for her. I had looked at the top of the line name brands, and they were just NOT in our budget! She was a big girl, so we would easily go through a large can of formula a week. The namebrand formulas were about $25.00 a can! Walmart's Parents Choice formula was only $13.00! What was better? It was organic! I even compared labels to make sure I wasn't buying some strange formula concoction for my new baby. To my surprise, the ingredients were the same! I was able to save money AND provide healthy, organic formula for my baby! ALso, you can contact Parent's Choice and they will not only send you samples for free, but coupons as well! They sent me a $5.00 off coupon! Leaving me to only have to pay $8 for a large can of formula!

I definitely recommend Parents Choice formula. It was great for my baby, and she never had any tummy troubles!
...

I have used this product for both of my children. Before using this, I have tried a couple of other brands. However I'm very satisfied with Parent's Choice Organic Formula (sold exclusively at Walmart). Not only that it is very affordable, but it's also very gentle for young infants. Both of my children never had problems with bowel movements. Whereas, while I tried different brands before, they always seemed to have problems with constipation.

Most importantly, my priority is getting my children organic foods while they're young. Normally, most of organic baby formulas are quite expensive (in a $30 range), but Parent's Choice organic is half of the price (only $15!). My only wish is that they sell this product at walmart.com. Because everytime I go to a local Walmart store, they're always sold out of this brand. If this is available online, it will be convenient for a busy mom like myself. I can purchase them in bulk instead of making too many trips to Walmart store.
...

I love this formula. It is about$14 cheaper than earth's best and is just as good as the name brand organic formulas. When I switched my son to this formula, I did not have any probelmes switching him from the regular milk based formula that he was on from 2 months of age. He had no problems with spitting up or diarrhea. It is definitely worth the money.
...

I exclusively breastfed all my kids for at least 14 months (some longer) and in their second year I always supplemented them with formula. I know that you can give regular milk at this time, but if the WHO (world health organization) recommends breastfeeding for 2 years--I say no harm no foul giving formula to fill in what I wasn't giving them.

After reviewing the formula regulations and comparing ingredients I went with Parent's Choice. It's worked well for us especially since we have 4 kids under 5....

i just visited the BabyOrganic.com website and noticed they have nutritional comparison tables comparing all of the organic formula brands they carry. The Parents Choice formula seems to have very similar ingredients to Vermont Organics Infant Formula and Bright Beginnings Organic infant formula. The prices of those formulas are also similar. I noticed Baby's Only Organic formulas are similar nutritionally but they have far fewer ingredients than all the other brands. i'm going to print the tables and discuss with a dietitian at my children's dr. office about which brand would be best for my baby....

I love this formula! When I started using Formula, my Doctor said to use Earth's Best Organic or Similac Organic. I started with the Similac, and then compared the ingredients. Similac lists SUGAR as a main ingredient in their formula, while Earth's Best does not. I found out that Parent's Choice Organic is made by the same person that makes Earth's Best Organic, and if you look at the labels, it is the EXACT same thing, but half the cost. My son loves it! It doesn't smell or stain like regular formula's, and I'm not going broke feeding my son. I use a Dr. Brown's formula mixer to mix it, and it mixes in Under a minute with no foam or bubbles. With any formula that you shake, your going to have problems with foam or bubbles....

I absolutely love Parent's Choice Organic Formula! I was so relieved to find it after a huge search of formulas when nursing wasn't going so well. I was astounded to learn that Similac organic has sugar in it!! Who puts sugar in infant formula?? Parent's Choice organic is wonderful, mixes easily, doesn't stain, and doesn't smell too funny. My daughter loves it and it doesn't give her gas or make her constipated. I love the price too! My only problem with this product is the low availability at some Wal-marts... I had to call my local Walmart's manager to ask them to stock this formula. They did and I am now happily stocked for quite a while!! ...

My husband and I are trying to live as green and healthy a lifestyle as possible. We started our son on Similac Organic which is super expensive, even at Costco. We then started scanning for sales at other retailers and ended up buying in bulk each time Safeway had a sale on Baby O Formula. I cannot express how thrilled I was when I wandered into Walmart and discovered Parent's Choice Organic! The brand is comparable nutritionally, and I save six dollars a can compared to sale prices at Safeway, and ten dollars compared to regular retail. No scanning the ads, no clipping coupons, just great product at a great price. The DHA in the product comes from algae. Some people want to get it from fish oil, but the fish get it from the algae anyway. Neither our naturopath nor regular pediatrician had anything negative to say about our product choice. Our son is thriving and we can put the extra savings in his college fund.
...
