Meri says "So long overdone rolls, so long burnt cookies... " about Pampered Chef Stoneware

Pampered Chef Stoneware turned me into an awesome baker. If I had not experienced baking with it I probably would be quite skeptical. So long overdone rolls, so long burnt cookies... truly amazing.

I have never burned baked goods while using the Pampered Chef Stoneware pieces. In fact, my cookies look as if I bought them at a bakery- perfectly baked to a golden brown. The secret to the way it browns is in the way the stoneware is made- each piece of stoneware is formed from a natural stoneware clay that evenly distributes heat and draws moisture away from the stone. As if that isn't enough of a sell, the stone retains heat so it acts like a warming dish after the items are baked. Somehow, it doesn't burn the baked item.

Seasoning the Stone:

It takes a little getting used to baking with any piece of Pampered Chef Stoneware. After receiving one you first need to wash it with hot water. The next step is called "seasoning" the stone. This is done by either baking a couple batches of high...
...

czigler says "One of the best for baking breads, cookies, and pizzas. " about Pampered Chef Stoneware

I love the Pampered Chef Stoneware collection. They are great for cooking pizzas, rolls, cookies, biscuits, any really fatty bread. I do not recommend them for cooking meats, as, after a while, they will get a little funky and hard to clean. We have a circle stoneware pizza pan, and its great. We use to have two, but while making a frozen pizza one day, we set the pizza on the stoneware while the oven was preheating. When the oven got ready, we slid the pan in there, and in about 2 minutes heard a loud cracking sound. I looked in the oven and sure enough, the pan had cracked into 3 pieces. So you have to be careful with sudden changes in temperature with these pans. And you can't wash them with soap, because it will absorb into the stoneware. Other than that, they are good for certain things, and not for others. I like having the one pizza stone, but I don't think I would invest in the whole set of stoneware. Still, a great product from a great company.
...

This Pampered cheif Stone is the best! Once you use it to make your pizza you will not use a metal pan agaiN! The crust is just the right amount of crispy! I USE IT TO BAKE MY COOKIES AND THEY NEVER BURN! I'm the type of person to put something in the oven and forget on accident and i have done that while baking cookies and wow to my surprise they weren't burnt. It would take a lot of time to burn them! :-) Which is a plus! I also make the chicken crossiant pockets with cream cheese and onion and they cook up real crispy and nice. The family loves them! You have to start out small meaning baking cookies and things to "season" the stone before you go baking pizza it helps the crisping process. I would recommend that every household have one! Great for baking! They also have a casserole dish that is the same material! I suggest that one too! It's a great buy for the amoun you pay!
...

I love my Pampered Chef Stoneware. I have 2 loaf pans and can't wait to get more. What I love is that everything cooks more evenly, it is harder to burn, and some how just seems to taste better. There is other stoneware out there that is good, but Pampered Chef is excellent and beats metal and glass anyday.
...

Pampered Chef stoneware is the only cookware that a cook needs. The cookware cooks your food without burning. The stoneware is easy to clean and maintain. I especially enjoy the pizza stone. Nothing ever sticks to it. The cookware can be used in the oven or the microwave and cook food perfectly every time. Although the price is a little expensive, the products are well worth the extra money. It is durable and there is never an aftertaste in your food as there is with certain metal pans.
...

gmni98 says "Best bakeware on the market! " about Pampered Chef Stoneware

I've been using Pampered Chef stoneware for over ten years, and it is truly the best bakeware you could buy. It cooks more evenly than anything else on the market. It can be frozen, microwaved, and it still doesn't crack. You just have to follow the instructions to avoid cracking it. Also, you don't even have to use soap to wash it! Just hot water with a special scraper that comes with the product. I use the loap pan for making breads, or if I need to make several loaves at once I use the mini loaf stone, which has four small loaves in one stone. I also love the muffin stone. No need to use paper wrappers! The first few times you use stones, you need to spray it with cooking spray. After the first few times, though, it is "Seasoned" (darkened) and becomes non-stick!! What a deal! You can get rid of all your glass and metal cookware/bakeware and use just the stones. I make lasagna, casseroles, potatoes, just about anything using my stoneware. It is the best!
...

I have two Pampered Chef stoneware pieces; the bar pan and the rectangle baking stone. I love them!! They make my cookies wonderfully soft and never burn. The only downside I have found is that the stoneware takes on a scary brown, almost dirty-looking hue after use, which has been known to scare friends who are unaware of how stoneware is supposed to look.
...

I have 10 pieces of the Pampered Chef stoneware, it is the best stoneware that I ever used. Many of the pieces will replace any metal pan that you own. It makes the best pizza and cooks evenly. I have made cookies that are ooey and gooey and never burn. It is virtually non-pourous, so it doesn't retain oils odors or flavors. I love it because I use it for many things, you can cook in the oven, microwave or toaster oven. It can be put in the refrigerator or freezer. I freeze my large bar pan around the holiday's when I am making chocolate candy, it helps to set the chocolate in half the time. The deep covered baker is my favorite, I put frozen meat in it and put it in the oven and it still cooks faster than defrosted and in a regular pan. It also keeps your food hot for a long time after you take it out of the oven. I highly recommend you trying the Pampered Chef stoneware, there is no comparison.
...

Despite the fact that I don't spend much time in the kitchen, I love baking anything on my Pampered Chef pizza stone. I have made pizzas, cookies, cinnamon rolls, even turnovers on my stone, and everything turns out great.

Turnovers have been a special challenge for me, I just get the frozen ones from the grocery store, and when I tried cooking them on a traditional cookie sheet the bottom nearly always got too dark if not burned outright. On the pizza stone I once accidentally left them in a few minutes too long and even though the tops got dark, the bottom contacting the pizza stone had been consistent enough temperature that it was still perfect in color and taste.

I do have to be more careful than I usually care to be about breaking it, my cat did break a pampered chef stoneware baking dish once, but I love the fact that cleanup is so easy. Just scrape off particles with one of the provided scrapers, and rinse with water. Remember not to use soap!
...

I have owned other stoneware, but by far, Pampered Chef makes the best one out there. I have several sizes of the stoneware and use it for all kinds of meals, from pizza, to sandwiches to baking cookies, each time, never burned and always cooked to profession. Makes every meal effortless. These can be a bit pricey, but there is a 5 year guarantee on each one, which makes it worth the money. I have tried others, but none are was sturdy and well made as Pampered Chef's. They come in all sizes and shapes, and beware (coming from experience), if you buy the oddly shaped you need to find a home for it, and they are heavy. I love how you can go from the microwave, to the oven, to the dishwasher for cleanup. I have had mine several years and wouldn't know what to do if I didn't use it once a week. Well worth the money. I would highly recommend this to a friend or family member and have even bought some for friends for christmas presents.
...
