my kirby was very expensive. an i just found out today that you can chew the price... play some hardball. some of the attachments are crazy and i have never used. the shampooer is hard for me to use. but as a vaccum it is great. i do like it for cleaning mattresses and furniture, light dusting. it is very heavy and not always the easiest on storing but what vacumm is ? my grandma uses the same kirby that she bought like 50 yrs ago and it still does great. so i figure i will never buy another one. my friends replace theirs ever year or every other year and spend 100-200 on each one. so it balance out and wins on price later. it is difficult to me to buy additional bags and stuff. no web site. but sometimes i find them at flee markets and you can call and order them. it also comes with a instruction video that reminds you how to use the different attachments. that helps alot because i dont use all the attachments that often.

The Kirby all in one that my husband bought for my several years ago is a good vacum, just like the no name cheap one I had baught a at Walmart a few years earlier. He wanted me to have the best thought and at around $2000.00 he thought it was the best all around good deal. The probleme is that the bags cost about $15.00 per bag and you have to do some major reconfigoring to get it to where you can use it as a shampooer. If you have an extra $2000.00 laying around the house and you just want to spend it on anything, then maybe this is for you. however if you are like me and would rather spend it on food, clothing or maybe a mom's monthly night out (for the hole year) then I wouldn't recomend it.
