The previous reviews of iHerb seem out-of-date, out-of-touch.

Iherb used to be great -- the best. They WERE my favorite online store for supplements. Not any more. (Are they under new ownership?)

Customer service is practically non-existent now and shipping is UNBELIEVABLY slow. By most recent reviews on the web, there is a 2 - 3 week delivery time for shipping. My order took 20 days!! from date of ordering to my front door... however my credit card was charged one day after placing my order.

Not good.

I love this site! I was looking for deodorant w/ out aluminium and found Jason 70% organic deodorant. which works great and doesn't leave that caked on residue that regular aluminium based deodorants have.

I now find everything for my beauty needs at iherb. Everything that is so hard to find in local stores, I can now order on this site. My favorite brands are Aubrey Organics, and NOW, because they usually carry all natural and organic hair and skin products. NOW even has organic shea and cocoa butter!

Shipping is cheap and everything can be tracked when you log in to your account.

Not only do the iHerb people offer a no-nonsense sales site that functions flawlessly every time. So there are dozens of online and e-stores to choose from these days and it is hard to figure out which ones to go with, but after quite a bit of searching, I am sold on iherb. I'll just go through my experiences:

1) When I first became a customer, I found a discount code for $5.00 off my first purchase. It is MER594. You can also use MER594 if you're a new customer to iherb and get $5.00 off of your first purchase. That alone was a great deal.

2) Large discounts beyond the initial $5.00 off--most products are reduced by %25 to %35 percent. In my opinion, they were unbeatable prices.

3) Shipping was fast (I got my order within 3 days) and free for purchases of $60.00 or more. I like that--quick response and no shipping and handling costs.

4) Huge selection. I found every single name brand I look for on iherb and am able to buy all my health and beauty products in just one location--vitamins, supplements, shampoos, lotions, whey protein, fruit and enery drinks, teas, etc. It is a one shop shopping......

After purchasing vitamins from local drug stores, the grocery store, vitamin and health food stores, I stumbled across this website while doing an internet search for a particular vitamin that I had previously purchased at Whole Foods (for $46). Found it on iHerb for $21! Since then I have purchased all of my supplements at iHerb...I'll still check online for lower prices but have yet to find anyone who can beat their prices. It usually takes 3 days for me to get an order once I have placed it. I have never had any problems since purchasing from iHerb (I've made about 15+ purchases in the past year). I highly recommend this website....
