Just wanted to say that I make a great quick dinner with about a pound of white fish (talapia, or hake, etc.) and this Zatarains Jambalaya mix. Just follow directions, and when it says to add "meat" just put in your pound of fish. Boil as instructed, and stir during the slow heating, to make sure the fish is cooked through (but 25 minutes of cooking should be plenty). The result is a spicy rice mix with flaky fish. Great meal!

My family loves this jambalaya mix and we will never use another. We have traveled to new orleans many times and we think this tastes just as good. I make it with leftover smoked sausage and chicken and it turns out great every time. It is a simple to cook and takes no time to make. The spiceness is just right for my family but we love hot stuff. This is one of the few things my family can agree on to have for supper. ...

i like this dish i fix it for my family and myself as often as twice or more a week. We also like to try different flavors, like putting chicken in it or hot polish. I also enjoy the fact that it is very flavable it never leaves you wondering if you didn't season it enough. it makes you want more even if you aren't hungry anymore. My daughter is a very picky eater and this is one thing that i can cook for her that she gets all the nutrients needed.My husband refuses to eat vegetables but he will eat them if they are in this meal.

Zatarains is a easy way to go for a hot meal! This item is easy to prepare and serves plenty at my house. I have 5 girls and they all love the stuff. This product can be a little spicy but not to bad. I often add chicken chunks, sausage, or hamburger to calm the spice. Great to eat with a side dish of corn or corn on the cob. I highly recommend....

I love good Jambalaya, and I love time saving items. This is both. I love the flavors of this Jambalaya, and it is versatile. I have added shrimp, ham or even chicken depending on my mood. The last time I made if for friends, they commented on how much they liked it, but didn't like the thought of spending all day in the kitchen. Hmmmm, I wondered if I should tell them. They know I don't usually use boxed items for my cooking.

I loved the fact that I can have a dish like this and stay within my budget.

This product is incredible! It is so fast and easy to make, and tastes absolutely amazing. I am a spicy foods lover, but at the same time, too much of it can ruin a meal. Fortunately, this isn't the case. This product makes me want to go to New Orleans and try the real deal. Keep up the good work, man!...

I just love this. It is the next closest thing to Jambalaya straight from New Orleans! Plus it is SO easy to make, doesn't take very long either....

This rice was a great find for us in the grocery store. My husband likes to cook to, and he likes spicy flavorful things. He doesn't usually comment or get too excited about food, but he loves this rice. I keep some on hand when I need something quick, easy, and very tasty to add to our meals. We like to add meat and try new recipes with it. Great rice....

I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars due to the large amount of salt in the mix; I haven't tried the reduced-sodium mix yet but am eager to do so. I've used this mix numerous times without any problems, using a can of shrimp for seafood as well as a pound of andouille sausage for more authenticity and spice. I like hot food, but not any that is HOT; this is perfect when I'm looking for that flavor to remind me of New Orleans. The optional red pepper packet has always been reserved for my fiance's overly spicy taste, yet he has yet to add it to this particular dish. Very tasty!!!...

I cooked this for my man and it was okay nothing like cooking it the original way has good flavor but not enough hint of spices like it should be. But good for a quick get away meal....

I love Zatarain's because it is a quick and inexpensive meal that my family loves. All I have to do is add chicken, shrimp or sausage. My husband and I enjoy spicy foods and this has the right amount of spices. It probably isn't exactly what an authentic jambalaya dish tastes like, but I'm sure it's a close second. Their other dishes are great, also....
