I love Yankee Candles, I have several that I use around the house. I have started using the metal topper though so that they burn evenly in the jar. I recently dropped a large jar and the jar shattered, but the candle was perfect. So I carefully removed all the glass and put it out on a candle plate. This thing smells all over the house. I was really surprised because I have never lit it. It just sits there, creating a wonderul fragrance throughout the house. The one thing that I really don't like is that some of the fragrances are retired and then I can't find them when the old candle is done. I signed up on line and in the store and I get some pretty nice coupons. During the Holidays I received a coupon for Buy Two Get Two Free. A friend and I went together and used the coupon and had 4 teacher's gifts between us. This made each candle worth around$13. I didn't feel so bad about giving it as a Christmas gift to my daughter's teachers. I really do like the...

I have a candle melter, aka candle burner. The type that you plug into the wall and put the jar into. It complete surrounds the sides of the jars and melts the wax giving off the aroma of the candle without a dangerous flame to be watched. They work AMAZINGLY well! I have used inexpensive candles in them and expensive ones. The Yankee Candle Jars work the best to me because they don't totally overpower you with aroma yet they clearly give off LOTS of scent and they last a very long time. A lot longer than you would expect them to last when used in this fashion.

My favorite scent is Christmas Eve.

Note to Yankee! MAKE MORE and have it all year around! If I don't get out before thanksgiving to get my candles for Christmas time, they are gone till next year. :-(

I would recommend any of their candle products to anyone.

Yankee candles are the best! If you are looking for a way to scent your house, these candles are the way to go. We have pets and I have had to use air freshners and different room sprays but they are only temporary and have to be sprayed often to scent the whole house. With Yankee candles all you have to do is light one and after burning a short while, it will start to make your whole house smell good. They do cost a bit more but the burn time and the amount of fragrance you get is worth it.

Different ways to safely use these candles. You can place them on a warming stand, you can burn them, you can leave them setting out or use a lamp shade on them to add to your home decor. Dress them up for Christmas or for the fall or just match your home.
There are different sized candles to use in every room of the house. I have a votive stand in the dining room so I need small votives there, but throughout the remainder of the house I can use small jars in the bathrooms and larger jars in the bigger rooms. These means the scent goes throughout the house.

I can still remember the first time I smelled a Yankee Candle Jars Candle; it was in the Navy Exchange in Newport, RI, my hometown. I was home on leave from Pearl Harbor HI. I feel in love with the sweet, but earth scent of the candle, and took several back to Hawaii with me, in order to have a little slice of home.

Now, each time I return to Newport for a visit, a stop at the local Yankee Candle Shop in Long Wharf Mall on Thames Street is a must. When you first step across the threshold, you are greeted with a symphony of scents that could only be orchestrated by Mother Nature (Sunflower, Storm Watch, Citrus & Teakwood) or Grandma (Sugared Plums, Warm Apple Crisp, and Cranberry Chutney).

There are scents that evoke the feelings of home (Autumn Lodge, Christmas Wreath, and Fireside) and other scents that take you someplace new (Island Mango, Pineapple Paradise, and Seaside...

I hate to give gifts. I'm such a perfectionist, I worry about giving the RIGHT gift, if they already have it, spending the right amount, etc.

Yankee Candles has solved my problems! Everyone loves to receive a candle, and you can be sure that their scents will smell delightful. Even if the recipient already has a candle or two around, chances are that they won't have the same scent. Yankee Candle changes their Frangrance-of-the-Month regularly, so there's always something new to try.

Other brands may be less expensive, but I've always been disappointed by their product. I'll stick with Yankee Candles, a brand I can depend on.

When I go shopping, I always look at the best smelling candles, hoping the candle will make my home smell just as good. I have tried hundreds of candles, however, the best one I have ever found is the Yankee Candle Jar Candles. Not only do they smell great in the jar, it also makes my home smell good, and lasts longer than most candles.

Who doesn't love Yankee Candles??? Yankee Candle Company has been in business over 30 years and is one of the most successful companies on the market. Their stores are located nationwide, and they operate a web-site for online purchases and product information.

I have lost count of the number of candles I have purchased from Yankee Candle Company: strawberry, Sun and Sand, Sugar Cookie, pineapple, Ocean Water, Sea Salt, and my all-time favorites: Coconut Bay and Roasted Coffee. The sheer number of options in the shops can be overwhelming, so I typically limit myself to shopping at their outlets or during sales, so I don't have to stop at buying just one! Because of the variety available, you can not only select your candle preference based on scent, but also on color scheme of your home or office decor...if you want a blue candle, you have at least 5 options of scents to choose from that will look beautiful in your setting.

Yankee is my favorite brand of candle. I am a candle freak. I have one going just about every day of the year throughout the day. I've sampled many kinds. The yankee candle jars burn the cleanest, the best, and the most scentful scent. The variety of scent flavors will suit anyone's scent desires. I love that a candle can take you back to a time or an occassion and bring back memories. Yankee's scents are amazingly real. When they say "clean cotton" it smells like laundry you just took out of the dryer. When they say, sun and sand, it is the exact same smell of being on a beach in the summertime. It's amazing. They are great for ambiance in a room... they can lighten up any room. If we were to have a power outage, we'd be set no problem and not only have light but our choice of great scents also :) Yankee candles can be expensive, but they aren't the most expensive out there. THey are quality candles, they burn a long time and they are worth the extra you pay!

I love to have Yankee Candly jar candles in my house. These candles burn for hours and hours. I tend to get them when they are on sale or clearance because they are a bit expensive but they smell so good. Plus if you go to some stores like Bed, Bath, and Beyond they have a huge selection of not only candles but accessories so you can make your house decorative and aromatic. My friend thinks I am crazy because I have so many but I love the different scents and buy them when I can. They make great gifts as well. They can be bought in a store or online. If you register your email address you get great deals and offers about once or twice a month. I also get the catalog and on every catalog there is a coupon for candles. No matter how many I buy I cant get enough! I burn the jar candles, the tarts, the tealights, and the votives. The scents that are out right now are great for Spring but the Christmas ones are my favorite and even though they arent available in the store right now you can...

I really try to keep my home clean and I like keeping it smelling fresh with using candles. So many times I'll buy candles that burn unevenly or don't have a great scent, but that is not the case with Yankee Candle Jar Candles because they are the best candles I have ever used. I love that they come in great scents, that truly scent your whole home. The fragrances are not too overpowering, but they will make a statement in your home. I have visited the Yankee Candle store many times and have found so many fragrances, it is so hard to choose and so many come in great colors. Sometimes I'll buy because of the color, other times because of the scent. My favorites are the seasonal candles such as gingerbread and pumpkin for fall and the sweet fruity flavors for summer. Yankee candles are the only brand that I think is good enough to be given as a gift. They are truley superior to any brand I've ever bought from a supermarket, super store or fundraiser. ( And I've bought MANY!) Yankee candles are extremely long lasting which makes them a great value. The jars are very heavy and sturdy. I have never broken one and I have been buying them for almost 20 years.The larger the candle, the better the value. They are always coming up with new scents and their stores are beautiful too....
