Enchanted Arms for Xbox 360 - this game has both it's upside and downside. For those gamers looking for a laid-back, go at your own pace game, this is it. The turn based battle system is great for gamers like me who are a little slow at the controls. The plot is interesting and there is plenty of humor injected in the character conversations. I find myself playing this game for hours at a time and not realizing where the time went. However, the random battles sometimes happen a bit too often which gets old FAST and the plot is very linear (though there are some side quests). As far as the linearity of the game, it's pretty much the opposite of the Elder Scrolls games. Bottom line, this game is worth playing through, but will probably just sit on your shelf after you're done playing it once. Try borrowing it or buy used if you can....

delixer says "Masquerades as an RPG, which it barely is." about Xbox 360 Enchanted Arms

It's not surprising that this game was re-released on PS3 with extra quests. This game is very one ended. Just driving through the story, I wouldn't recommend this version or the PS3 version. Stick to Final Fantasy titles if you want a rewarding RPG experience....

Mr----X says "An RPG for the Xbox 360? Yep and it's a darn good one." about Xbox 360 Enchanted Arms

Enchanted Arms, also known as [eM] in Japan, was the first RPG (role playing game) I played for the Xbox 360. I knew, when I bought my 360, that it wasn't an RPG heavy system (like Playstation 2). This upset me because I'm paying out all this cash for a new game system and my favorite type of games weren't really in the making for it. At least not at the release of the system. Finally this year though, there are 4-5 RPGs coming out for the Xbox 360 (in the holiday line up of games), all of which should be amazing.

Plot: Atsuma, an enchanter in training, is going to school at the University in Yokohama City. He's learning about the many types of man made golems that populate the world and also the 1,000 year war, that happened centuries ago, named The Golem Wars. During the Golem Wars, extremely powerful golems called Devil Golems fought each other, laying waste to everything that they touched. One day, Atsuma decided to skip school with his two best friends, Toya and Makoto. Heading over......
