I made my daughters cake in this and it came out great. A few tips. #1 you technically only need one box of cake mix. Fill both to the half way mark. If you want to add more that is fine. Just make a second box and fill up 2/3's of the way. Use the rest of the batter to make cupcakes or something else. But only one box is necessary.

#2nd tip. Make sure the cake is completely cooled before releasing the cake. Place upside down while cooling. It will automatically release. The first time I did this, I did not let it cool upside down. After shaking and trying to get it to release - it did but it took a very very long time.

If you try and take the cake out while the cake or pan is still warm, your cake will fall apart. It should cool in 1 hour.

Once they are out, place them on top of eachother. I put frosting in the middle of the top and bottom to hold it together and decorated the top only. Enjoy! Looks great!!

The Wilton cup cake pan makes a nicely evenly baked cake that comes out of the pan so easy. And there are so many great ideas to decorate the cup cake with. I just love decorating this cupcake pan. The stress of thinking about a design to put on a regular cake is now gone. It also makes a great centerpiece and will brighten up any table, so much nicer than a regular sheet cake. And such a great conversation starter. The parents love the cupcake design as much as the children do! When my pan arrived I baked a cake just for fun, my husband and son loved it....

This has got to be the cutest cake ever. Who doesn't like cupcakes?? I had wanted to order this pan for a while and I was online a few weeks ago and saw it on sale.. Well, I ordered it.. Baked a cake just for fun. This is the ideal cake for kids parties. Kids love cupcakes and to see a huge cupcake is pretty cool for a kid..
