It is good if you under the age of 8 mainly because it is Wilson. It is also good because the spongebob character on the racket is enjoyable for kids under the age of 8. I wouldn't really recommend this to anybody mainly because I could use the money for something better.

The Wilson Spongebob 19-in Youth Tennis Raquet, made by Wilson, is great for small children and features a cartoon character that children love, Spongebob. I would reccomend it to toddlers- kindergarders, but after that, it's best to just buy a bigger one....

This is a great, inexpensive racquet for a child who has indicated an interest in learning tennis. Unfortunately, as your child grows and becomes more adept at the sport, this racquet will quickly need to be replaced by something that can be stung at a tighter tension. Perfect for the 4-6 yo group but I would suggest spending a little more money and purchasing a racquet that your child can become attached to and keep for a few years....

I cringe. I have a feeling I'm in trouble again.

"He's running around the house with it and swatting everything in sight; his breakfast bowl, my candles, his stuffed toys...even his dad's head!"

I smile. I knew that he would have a lot of fun, even though he'll drive his parents crazy all winter. It sounds like the SpongeBob Squarepants Tennis Racquet is a big hit with my almost-3-year-old bundle of energy.

Like most toddler boys, my grandson is a fan of any game that involves a ball.

He is mesmerized by baseball, thrilled by basketball, in awe of hockey, and excited by tennis. Actually, I am the one who introduced him to tennis. Not on a tennis court, but by turning on the television to watch Venus Williams play a match. Ever since then, he's been a fan. He never roots for any one player; he lets out a whoop and a cheer no matter who makes...
